Here's a short review of my Bane. I LOVE this saber!!!! It's like it was made to fit my hand! I really like the fact that I can grip it right below the flange on the emitter. This is a GREAT 2-handed saber! The Pyrestone Orange & Dark Violet (a more blue Violet) fit the Bane perfectly!! I would highly recommend these colors to anyone, for probably any saber! Not much else to say, other than this is a FANTASTIC saber!!  Shocked  Grin

I will say one other thing though....I was just a little dissatisfied with this order I received. My Bane was missing the covertec knob & my son's saber was supposed to be a Dark Initiate LE, but I received the regular Dark Initiate. It's not a big deal, since I was going to remove the covertec anyways & my son won't let me send his in to replace it. I'm mostly commenting on this to let Ultra & Deep know about it for future reference.  Smiley

Anyways, I love my saber & look forward to getting many more!  Grin Cool

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the Obsidian. This soundboard is MAGNIFICENT!! I love the sound quality & the fact that you can adjust the sensitivity! Awesome job on this Ultra & Novastar!! Cool

I have to say i agree with you the bane is definitely my fav 2 handed saber as well and the dark violet looks good might have to place an order for one of those in the future. i always find out about things after i've placed my "last " order
slightly off topic anybody else notice better color when using a cellphone for the blades

It's really a nice saber ! I can't wait to receive my friend's Bane and see it by myself Wink

Also, I'm sorry for your son's saber but as he seems to like it, it's not as bad.

It's darker & yes it's a custom color. If you order one of these colors, just pick one of the mix colors (Violet Amethyst, Arctic Blue, Sunrider's Destiny) and then in the order comments section, tell them what you want exactly. This is what I said on my order: "On the Bane I want Pyrestone Orange. On the MLS unit I want a "more blue" Violet Amethyst." It's nice, because these custom colors only cost what one of the normal mix colors would cost.....an extra $5  Smiley

I'd love to get a Pyrestone saber myself someday! I have the normal Violet Amethyst and I like it. Mine's certainly not "pinkish" but it's not "dark violet" either. So basically it's the best of both worlds. Especially with rechargeables! It's like the movie purple! Oh and a mid grade blade is key also  Wink

Anyway that Dark Violet is awesome also haha. Heck, maybe I'll just get the same order as you someday!

Thanks, Brother!! I love both these colors so much, I can't choose between them!! Orange is my favorite color, but the Dark Violet looks awesome on this saber!! Both these colors are EPIC!!  Wink Grin Cool
