I would have to say the Pyrestone. But that's ONLY because orange is my favorite color. The Dark Violet is just as great! Me, both. Some day you'll need to get a staff if you don't all ready.
Yeah, I want a Standard Issue staff. Guess I'll just have to wait till they're back in stock.  |

I will try Adegan Silver, Pyrestone Orange and Dark Violet for it.

I just realized I have not posted on this thread! I feel that I must, for I admit I have drooled a little over your saber with its two awesome custom colors. Honestly, I've been looking to go for an Obsidian equipped dark side saber, and I think it's gonna have Dark Violet  So thanks for the inspiration! |

I'd love to see some pics. I would also hope that Deep could do something for you, tuning the LEDs differently maybe. Otherwise have you tried playing with any color filters yet? I've done a lot of experimenting with them, you might be able to do the alteration yourself. |

You mean the difference between a midgrade & heavygrade or between Fire Orange & Pyrestone Orange? Not sure which you mean.  |

Actually, the pictures that I showed of the double raven in another thread had the pyrestone orange and the blazing red (the pictures suck for exact blade color). I was using initiate mid grade blades. I just couldn't see that much of a difference. The pyrestone orange was a little darker, but I was expecting something on the line of a light orangie rust color.
No, I haven't tried using filters. That may be an option if US can't get the darker pyrestone that I'm looking for. I assume you would attach the filter onto the mls unit, but where would you get the filter material, and how would you attach it to the mls (glue/tape)??
