:: Specialist Jathan Cort ::
:: Dorsal Gun Turrent, Wagtail's Shadow/ Mynock’s Bane ::

Cort checked his targeting sensors for the status of the Y-Wing he and Dak'r had been firing at, and saw that the fighter was now disabled.  Seeing Lancer 4 and Cutter 1 approaching on his sensors he rotated the turret around towards the approaching fighters.  The X-Wing was on them in a hurry lacing the lower hull with laser fire, and well out of his firing arc.  Dak'r would have to deal with him.  As soon as the targeting reticle turned green on the slower moving Y-Wing, Cort opened fire.  Several shots splashed against his opponents forward shields as the smaller craft sent a pair of blue energy bolts flying towards the freighter.  He continued firing towards Lancer 4, which was now peeling off as it's forward shields had been nearly depleted, and made several more hits on the fighter's port shield before it dove down out of his firing arc.

As the Y-wing whizzed by Dak'r rained his fire against it. The screen gave the reading and it was disabled. Dak'r knew he wasn't doing great but he still felt somewhat accomplished. He did t have time to cheer though as fighters still remained all around him. His target computer alerted him to the X-wing approaching.

He swiveled around and his system locked in and he fired a stream of shots as it zoomed by. He had a few hits. But it wasn't anything to cause serious damage.  The Y-wing that was there as well firing back after taking a beating from Cort and Dak'r was able to get some shots in as well before it moved from his range.

:: Lieutenant Commander Kardac Shalth ::
:: X-wing, Cutter One ::

~Kardac was trying to keep a bead on Styg, but he was a pretty good pilot, and now he was using his ion cannons to cover his rear.  Unable to get much of a good shot he wheeled off of Lancer One's tail.  His scanners told him that Cutter Three had finished with his Y-wing opponent and was heading towards the fight.~

"Cutter Three, assist Cutter Four with taking out Lancer One.  I'm going to cover Lancer Three and Four.

~He banked hard and lined up a run on the freighter, which was still chasing Lancer Three quite closely.  She was managing to dodge him some while chasing the fighter.  It seemed he couldn't cause enough of a distraction to get her off the ship and eventually Lancer Three reported disabled.~

"Lancer Four, line up a run on her aft on the low side and I'm going to run interference on the turret."

~Kardac lead the charge in and raked the freighter's ventral side with a barrage of shots, all but collapsing her deflectors.  His main target though was the turret.  He pulled out and flipped around, coming straight at the turret from below, which was a hard spot for the turret to point at.  His next few shots seemed to puncture the weakened deflectors and raze the turret, which might have made it inoperable.  Meanwhile Lancer Four was making a strafing run on the freighter's aft side with its ion cannons.~

:: Belyra Vekraa/ Elayne Korvani, Human Smuggler/ Mercenary ::
:: Cockpit, Mynocks Bane ::

Cutter Four had now flown off to join the others, taken out by Styg. Elayne was too busy concentrating on her own problems. By throwing the ship first one way then the other she had dodged one of the ion shots but she was outgunned and outmatched by the two smaller fighters. The second ion shot hit her aft shields collapsing them completely.

“Shields gone!” Zeeke reported at the same time as Tyy’n’s voice came over saying “shield generator’s damaged and we are losing power!”

A second later Orta responded ”Turret’s damaged!”

“I can frakkin’ see all that!” Bel growled. She urgently called out to Styg. “Lancer One we are just about completely frakked here I need help now!”

Before Styg could respond another ion shot hit the rear of her ship. It was reported as a direct hit to the engines and more lights were flashing and alarms blaring. A large notification popped up warning her to cut engine power immediately, since the simulation software allowed for engine control to be manual to avoid dangerous situations if they arose rather than actually disable the ship. Reluctantly she did as it said, another run by Cutter One doing simulated damage by frying her hyperdrive and doing damage to the armour and hull. Bel’s heart was pounding and her adrenalin racing. She had only once before been in ship to ship combat that had resulted in the ship she was on being disabled and it had been a terrifying experience. She had been the pilot then too and completely outgunned by chasing pirates, but it had been back when she served on a Virella Systems cargo freighter. Luckily they had been close to a planet and within it’s gravitational pull at the time and had crash landed the ship. One of the crew had been killed and everyone injured but since Bel had been securely strapped in she had suffered the least injuries. Another two crew had died over the next twelve hours from their injuries, but the captain, a deckhand and herself had been saved from a similar fate by an Imperial patrol that had come along and taken out the pirates that were scavenging the ship and rescued them. She’d never particularly liked that ship and after that had almost exclusively picked to work on CEC vessels believing any other make to be bad luck, and choosing to work on faster, better armed vessels. Knowing that they were now goners Bel held her breath and tensed for what was to come even though she knew it was just a simulation….

But the alarms that instead went off were not what she was expecting. Proximity alarms went off as a small Sienar Fleet Systems transport left hyperspace in their sector just outside of their weapons range and an even further distance from the CR90. The ship came up as an unknown on their scanners and suddenly Shalth was calling the simulation aborted and for the fighters to deactivate the simulation software and fall into formation.

”Unidentified Anxarta- class freighter transmit your authorisation clearance codes or leave this sector immediately or we will open fire” was the transmission that came over a local open comm channel from the Qanotha as all her weapons came online and she came about ready to engage.

“Kriffing hell they don’t take chances do they” Bel muttered, her adrenalin still spiking, this time at the chance of real combat. Her hands raced across the controls as she got her vessel back up to speed to fall in behind the fighters then spoke up over the ship comms. “Crew this is not a simulation, I repeat this is not a simulation. Do not open fire until the transport is identified!”

Desperately she argued with her ship’s computer. “Kark it all how do I turn this kriffing software off and get my real weapons back?!”

::Kellam Styg, human pilot::
::Y-wing, Lancer One::

::Cutter Four found it more and more difficult to evade Kellam's shots as more and more of them struck their target.  Before long, Cutter Four was listed as disabled in the simulation software.  As Kellam finished up with Cutter Four, Elayne called for help over the comms.  He could hear her frustration and desperation; this exercise has been stacked against them.  Kellam saw on his scanners that Cutter One had disengaged him to attack Elayne instead.::

"Keep an eye out for Cutter Three, use the ion cannon if he gets in range." ::Kellam told his droid.::

::As Kellam turned and started to accelerate towards the frieghter, his scanners picked up a new contact, followed by the Qanotha warning the unidentified ship off.  Kellam slapped the killswitch to shut off the simulation program and re-enable his weapons.::

::Areta Viridux, Duros Pilot, Intelligence officer::
::X-Wing, Cutter 3::

Areta was pushing his X-wing hard to make up the distance between himself and the remaining participants in the exercise when a warning siren sounded. A small freighter had dropped out of Hyperspace not far away.
The Qanotha immediately hailed the newly arrived vessel requesting identification and warning it that it may be fired upon. The Duros threw his ship in to a flat turn and saw that the crew aboard Qanotha had correctly identified it as an Anxarta class transports, one of the last freighters made my Sienar before they turned their production over to TIEs.

Lt Antilles in had also re-powered his engines and Areta formed up alongside the Y-wing that he had recently been engaged in mock combat with. Switching their weapons to live and in line abreast formation Cutter 3 and Lancer 2 headed in the direction of the potential threat.

:: Lieutenant Commander Kardac Shalth ::
:: X-wing, Cutter One ::

~Kardac and Lancer Four were in the middle of finishing off the freighter when an alert sounded that there was a hyperspace event nearby.  His heart jumped a few beats until he realized that the scopes showed a small craft and not something larger like an Imperial cruiser.  Qanotha issued a warning to the ship and Kardac switched comm channels to all the ships currently deployed.~

"Cutters, form up on me and advance on the unknown ship.  Lancers, form up on Lancer One and paint the target for missile lock.  YT-2400 you are to keep your distance."

~After he cut the comm he had R3 transmit a coded signal to Bel's ship computer that would be intercepted by the training software and would cause it to deactivate and return her systems to normal.  He began his approach after Cutter Three and Cutter Four moved up to his position.  They advanced slowly and cautiously as everyone waited to see if this ship had clearance codes.~

:: Transport West Star ::

“Kriffing hells!” The captain muttered. “Some welcome I get! Captain Silus of the transport West Star and I’m hoping you are the Qanotha. Transmitting my authorization codes just don’t shoot damn it.”

“Is there a problem Cap?” A tall heavily built man walked up the passageway and leaned on the door frame.

“Cept for everyone preparing to open fire? Everything’s just shiny.”

The large man folded his arms, his voice calm and seemingly unconcerned. “If they give us hassles let me talk to em. I know a couple of their commanding officers.”

There was silence for a moment longer before ”West Star this is the Qanotha, you have clearance to dock. Head to Docking Ring 1A. Our ships will be landing momentarily, let your passengers know that once you dock there will be a security officer to escort them directly to the hangar. We regret to inform you we have to make your stay brief.”

The grizzled captain huffed. “Fine by me, I’m just dropping this lot off on the side of my main run anyway.”

When he ended the call he added under his breath “bloody military.” The soldier behind him laughed. “We ain’t all that bad, can’t blame them for what they need to do.”

The scarred man turned and walked back down the passageway to his squad. “Okay boys get your gear together, time to swap ships.”

:: Bridge, Qanotha ::

With the transport identified the female communications officer made a call to the fighter squadron.

"Commander Shalth stand down, the transport's a friendly. Bring your squadron back in and have your men grab their remaining gear for the upcoming mission, mission is a go as soon as everything is ready."

She made a further call to the Mynock's Bane. "Captain Korvani you will bring your freighter into the hangar to finish loading the mission equipment, standby for the fighters to enter first."

:: Belyra Vekraa/ Elayne Korvani, Human Smuggler/ Mercenary ::
:: Cockpit, Mynock’s Bane ::

The smuggler-turned-mercenary was grumbling to herself, almost frantically searching for a way to kill the simulation software. Shalth’s voice crackled in over the comm, telling her to keep her distance. That set Elayne to more grumbling.

“What, thinks I can’t kriffin’ hold my own against another freighter?! Stupid, poncy, stuck up….”

Her console registered an incoming transmission while she complained, and a moment later her screens all returned to normal, followed by Zeeke commenting ”simulation software is off Captain, weapons are powering up to full.

Elayne glared at the X wing she could see pulling away leading the squadron. She was pretty damn sure that she hadn’t been the one to deactivate the software and that the transmission received moments before was related to it. “Sarge, remind me later to have a go at Shalth for not telling me where the kill switch is.” It didn’t cross her mind that she probably should have asked him earlier, in her eyes it was his fault for not informing her.

The tense moments waiting to see if the freighter was friend or foe passed when the order came from the communications officer that the ship was a friendly and to return to ship, followed by a second one to her ordering that she let the fighters in first before returning to the hangar. In response Zeeke put the call to his men that the ship was friendly and to not open fire. In formation the fighters broke off and headed back to the corvette, changing formation so they could enter the hangar through the multiple entrances. Bel slowed her approach then waited, somewhat impatiently, until she got the all clear from the hangar officer. In that time the freighter which had identified itself as the West Star had docked.

Fighters have landed, you have the all clear to come in Korvani.

She brought her ship in slowly, feathering the repulsor controls and paying close attention to the sensors as well as visual cues as she brought the freighter into the hangar. It was a tight squeeze with little clearance all round but she was an excellent pilot and knew her freighter well, bringing it in with minimal fuss. The landing gear kissed the deck and she started shutting the engines down, then leant back in her seat and brushed her fingertips through her hair before undoing her harness.

“Well that was a karking farce. I prefer taking on Imperials, they might be faster and harder to hit as a result but with little or no shields a couple of good shots and boom, they are history” she commented to Zeeke as they walked down the passageway to the ramp, her hands waving to emphasise her point. By this point the other three soldiers had left their posts and made their way to the ramp. Elayne looked around at them. She had worked with far better crews before she got the Shadow, but she supposed it could have gone far worse given their experience. None of them trusted her or even liked her and if she couldn’t get past the indifferences it was going to make the mission that much harder. The redhead hit the ramp controls and took a deep breath.

“Well, that could have been better. But you all did fairly well considering we were outnumbered and outgunned and none of you have experience crewing a starship. At least we took out one of their own, I’m sure that Y wing’s pilot isn’t going to hear the end of being taken out by a civilian freighter.”

She gave the soldiers a smile before adding “well let’s go get whatever pep talk the Commander’s about to give over and done with, and figure out who our new guests are.”

She walked a few steps down the ramp then swung down over the side with practiced ease and grace instead of walking the rest of the way. Her combat booted feet landed with a soft thunk before she headed towards the pilots who were grouping around Shalth and, surprisingly given he hadn’t been part of the exercise, Lunelle.

:: Specialist Jathan Cort ::
:: Dorsal Gun Turrent, Wagtail's Shadow/ Mynock’s Bane ::

After the unknown ship appeared and was identified as a friendly and the exercise was effectively ended, Cort scowled as the blip on the radar representing the Y-Wing had just been shooting at.  One more pass and he could have taken the fighter out, but he did some good damage to it's shields anyway.  The whole exercise had seemed rather pointless to him.  If they did have to shoot their way through enemy fighter squadrons they wouldn't be up against Y-Wings, they would be facing fast moving and very hard to hit Tie Fighters and likely would not have inexperienced ground troops manning the Bane's gun turrets.

Cort climbed down from the dorsal turret and got in line behind Bel and Zeeke and waited for her to lower the ramp.

“Well, that could have been better. But you all did fairly well considering we were outnumbered and outgunned and none of you have experience crewing a starship. At least we took out one of their own, I’m sure that Y wing’s pilot isn’t going to hear the end of being taken out by a civilian freighter.”

Cort basically ignored Bel's evaluation standing silently waiting, his face expressionless.  She then smiled at the soldiers and made a comment about getting the Commander's pep talk.

"We sure wouldn't want to miss that."  The Specialist commented sarcastically and then followed the smuggler and Sergeant down the ramp and over to where the pilots and higher-ups were gathering.

::Y-wing Lancer One/Qanotha hangar::

::The rest of the Y-wings formed up next to Kellam's and together they locked weapons on the freighter but held their fire.  Several tense moments passed while they waited for the new freighter to be declared a friendly or a hostile.  Finally the freighter was declared friendly and the order to land was given.  The fighters made their approach towards the Qanotha's hangar and landed, followed by the YT-2400.  Kellam sat in his Y-wing, which was now powered down on the hangar deck.  He wasn't really sure what the point of the exercise was now that he looked back at it.  Their goal didn't seem achievable.  He climbed out of the cockpit, removing his helmet and setting it down inside the cockpit before approaching the rest of the pilots that were gathering.::

:: Lieutenant Commander Kardac Shalth ::
:: Qanotha Landing bay ::

~Kardac waited until everyone had gotten landed and settled and was all gathered around.  He could see a number of disgruntled faces in the group.  He knew what they were about though.  When everybody was there he spoke up.~

"I'm sure most of you were wondering what the point of that exercise was.  It's not hard to read the faces of those of you who were shot down or almost lost as we were interrupted before the very end.  Well, this was two fold.  First, it was to shake off the rust for those of us who needed it, and there were a few who did.  Second, it was to throw everybody here, especially our new folks, into a hairy situation and give you all a crash course in working together in a situation you aren't used to."

~He gestured around the group of people.~

"I'd rather you have that crash course now rather than later when it might be a live combat situation.  I am well aware that the circumstances would likely be different, but consider this an icebreaker.  Also bear in mind that while I know the freighter team and escorts were at a disadvantage, and at the end were in a losing scenario, they still took out two out of five fighters and nearly made it to their exit point.  Also, while they might have been mostly dead in the water as far as their engines go, they still had another escort that was alive and kicking and their weapons were not totally disabled.  There was some sloppy work on both sides, however against a superior force, it was a pretty good effort.  Against a group of TIEs that size your group very likely would have completed the objective due to no missiles to contend with, nor any shields on the opposing craft.   So, let's just look at this as a good learning exercise."

~Kardac turned and gestured to a hatch on the other side of the bay.  Almost everybody in the group knew that on the other side of the door was the main passageway that connected to the starboard docking ring where the new ship would be dropping it's passengers.~

"So, now lets meet our new crew members that will be accompanying us."

~Only about a minute passed and then the door opened and a security officer came in escorting a group of what appeared to be soldiers.~

:: Belyra Vekraa/ Elayne Korvani, Human Smuggler/ Mercenary ::
:: Hangar ::

Four men strolled into the hangar bay, all in the uniforms of Alliance soldiers. Their leader was a tall powerfully built man with shaggy dark hair. He might have been good looking once, but the numerous scars criss-crossing his face marred his features, with one particularly twisted scar running down his square jawline and heavier scarring with retreated hairline on the right side like he’d been caught in an explosion. He had a slightly hard look in his brown eyes and while he was wearing the insignia of a Sergeant Elayne thought he looked far more like a mercenary than a Rebel soldier. The powerful heavy rifle slung across his back looked more like something a mercenary would carry as well. The group walked directly towards the waiting Qanotha crew and with a sideways grin the leader put his heavy looking pack down and made a beeline for Lunelle, shaking the Captain's hand rather than saluting him. Obviously the man wasn’t much for protocols and that instantly got Elayne's approval.

“Captain Lunelle good to see you again.” His voice was gruff but there was a warm familiar tone to it. Lunelle smiled back.

“Good to have you aboard Sergeant Keler.” He looked somewhat pointedly at the man’s insignia. “Though I’m surprised you haven’t been promoted since I last saw you.”

The sergeant gave a short bark of a laugh. “I’m too laid back and disobedient to get promoted Cap.”

He saw the Lieutenant Commander standing there in his flight uniform and stepped over to shake his hand as well, once again forgoing protocol.

"Commander Shalth. Look forward to working under you."

He half turned and gestured to the three men standing behind him at a relaxed attention. One was a green skinned Rodian, a fairly short and skinny fellow. The second was a medium built but tall Lethan Twi’lek with what appeared to be a sniper rifle strapped to his back and tribal tattoos sprawled down his lekku, and the third another Lethan Twi’lek, this one bearing an uncanny resemblance to the first and with similar tattoos. All three had packs of equipment at their feet. The Rodian was a Corporal, the Twi’lek with the sniper rifle bore the rank of Specialist and the second Twi'lek wore a different insignia which Elayne realised was a medic’s badge. That would potentially be a handy asset.

“We aren’t much but we are all that could be scraped up on short notice. Them two Twi’leks there are brothers, Specialist Tej Terek and Private Cab Terek, our medic. Handy pair, stick em together and they can silently babble away in that head language of theirs to discuss situations and transmit orders. They work so damn well together it's uncanny and when the situation calls for it, Cab’s a good spotter for Tej. The Rodian is Corporal Dessh Kappa. He can be a bit of a sneaky fellow so with what we are about to do that’ll be handy. None of us are commandos or nothin’ but my squad’s reliable. We've already been briefed on the mission and the crew that'll be going, anything else we'll read on the boat ride out of here.”

Keler spotted Sergent Zeeke standing just off to the side of Lunelle. He walked up and shook his hand. “Sergeant” he greeted. “We are the newcomers here, I’ll follow your lead on this one.”

Lunelle turned to the smuggler. “Captain Korvani, let me introduce Sergeant Tarash Keler. He’s going to be the third member of your crew for this one. He’s a demolitions expert so you’ll need him to take down those generators.”

Tarash turned back and looked at the smuggler, standing there in her usual casual manner in her jacket, tank top, armour weave pants, combat boots and her blasters strapped to her thighs. “Elayne Korvani is it? I heard you captured that traitor Antur, right? Worked with him a few times, didn’t think he’d be that type. Fellow knew a lot so it was a good thing you got him.”

He looked her up and down, a slow grin coming to his face. “At least they’ve given us something good to look at on this mission, never hurts morale. Don’t worry that pretty little face of yours sweetheart, I’ll do as ya say. I might not be one for authority but I was a merc before this and know how to follow my Cap’s orders, so long as you don't order me to do something stupid and wasteful. Imps’ll never know what hit ‘em.”

Elayne grinned back at him. She was beginning to like this man and was regretting that she couldn't flirt much as Elayne. "Why thanks hun. I'm sure we will get along just fine. If you are gonna be one of my boys I hope you've got some nice non descript armour stowed in those bags of yours, the Alliance uniform might be a bit of a giveaway."

"You bet I do..."

Lunelle cleared his throat to interrupt them, and introduced each of the remaining crew that would be going on the mission. When he was done he added "take your equipment directly aboard the freighter Keler, Miss Korvani will show you where to stow it then we will answer any questions you might have. Soon as we are ready we will be taking off."

He turned his attention back to his own men. "Men, get your personal gear and get it stowed on the YT. The remainder of the equipment is almost ready. Any questions?"

:: Specialist Jathan Cort ::
:: Hangar, Qanotha ::

While the Commander gave them his 'pep talk' it was obvious that he knew exactly what they were all thinking, at least Cort suspected that the rest of the participants were thinking the same about how pointless the exercise had been.  Even when Kardac was finished he had a hard time agreeing with the Commander.  To him a good learning exercise involved someone being battered and bruised from hand to hand combat or taking shots from training blasters on the live-fire course, not sitting in a bubble on a ship firing imaginary rounds at a sluggish Y-Wing.  The whole thing irritated him and he was ready to get on with the real mission.  At Kardac's gesture, Cort turned towards the docking hatch on the other side of hangar as the newcomers began to arrive.

The first man definitely looked like he could take care of himself, and judging by the many scars had seen his share of battle.  Cort briefly wondered how the man handled himself in a fight, but decided he looked more like a brawler then a skilled fighter.  Still, he might have to see what the man could do sometime, after the mission of course.  He noted the other three with little interest before spotting the medic's insignia on one of the Twi'Lek's.  There was something that could come in handy.

Cort listened as Captain Lunelle introduced Sergeant Keler to Elayne.  His expressionless face turned into a mild scowl as the two, Keler and Korvani, started flirting with each other. 'As if she wasn't bad enough, now she's got someone to play with.'  He thought to himself, somewhat more irritated than before.  He glanced over at the other two soldiers.  Dak'r didn't betray much emotion but Sergeant Da'Ra seemed to be enjoying the newcomers a bit more.

As soon as Captain Lunelle ordered them to collect their gear Cort turned to leave.  He would just need to collect his weapons from his foot locker and he would be ready to go, and finally that much closer to giving pain to some Imperials.

:: Elayne Korvani/ Belyra Vekraa, Human Smuggler/ Mercenary::
:: Hangar ::

The woman escorted the four new soldiers onto her ship, resisting the urge to add a little strut into her step. She was meant to be playing the gun for hire, not being her usual self. She showed the men where they were to store their weapons and Alliance gear, in secure smuggler holds hidden in the floor of the entrance to engineering and the wall of the secondary hold. Keler raised an eyebrow when he saw her heft the plate off one of the floor holds.

“Interesting choice of ship. Was she a smuggler’s runner before this?”

“Something like that” Elayne replied in her usual evasive manner. There probably wasn't much point in lying to him, the crew of the Qanotha knew who she was after all so she expanded on it.

“That's my day job. My name isn’t Korvani, this is just my persona when selling my services as a gun for hire. It suits what we are about to do better and Korvani is clean with the Empire.”

Keler crossed his arms loosely and looked at her. “Well is that so? Nothing like keeping your options open I guess. Mind giving me a tour of your lovely little ship?”

Elayne smiled in return. “Maybe later. I gotta get this girl ready.”

The smuggler left him and his squad to pack their things away while she set about running more diagnostics and tweaking some things. The ship suddenly became very busy with techs helping do last minute things and loading the remaining equipment. Sometime later Elayne strolled down the ramp, jacket off and wiping her hands on a partly clean rag to check that the technicians had finished outside.

A short distance away from the base of the ramp the Twi’lek brothers and Rodian were standing around talking to the Qanotha’s soldiers who had their gear lying on the deck near them, she assumed getting acquainted with their new comrades. Zeeke seemed to be doing more talking than Jathan or Dak’r, Elayne had noted more than once those two were fairly quiet. Tyy’n was off to the side reading something on a datapad. Lunelle and Keler were catching up with each other a few steps from the main group, though the large ex mercenary who had a liking for heavy weapons was eyeing off Zeeke’s Z-6 appreciatively. She absent mindedly stepped aside as two technicians came through carrying the crate with explosives aboard. The pilots Kellam and Areta were coming in from the other side of the hangar and heading towards her ship, now both changed out of their flight suits and in civilian clothes. Kardac was still absent.

Bel slowed her pace slightly, feeling decidedly like the outsider here. Even if the soldiers and pilots didn’t know each other well they still shared a bond, a comradery. All were part of the Alliance military and even if they were there for different reasons, they all shared a common enemy and a common goal, to be rid of the Empire. Bel on the other hand was the freelancer, free to go where she pleased but belonging nowhere, no one she could trust or rely on. She felt a slight pang seeing them standing around. There were times she missed having friends but her job, her lifestyle didn't leave space for them and she purposely kept everyone at arm's length with solid walls built up. Her actions meant no one trusted her either. It was sometimes a very lonely life. She gave a slight sigh to herself then put on her easy going smile and walked over to them, rag still in her hands.

“Ship’s pretty much ready to go, are we just waiting on Commander Shalth now?”
