So I was playing with the sound fonts and added in the Old Republic sound, but there wasn't an idle hum.  So I decided to restore it to factory defaults, but when I try that message pops up "Device Configuration Failed".  I closed obsidian and restarted my computer, but it still won't allow me to restore the default setting.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, actually found the solution in another thread. Un-install the launcher then re-install it. make sure your saber is ON when you plug it into your computer. it should work again.

I found if you connect the saber while its off, it wont configure again.
