His head was pounding and a wave of displeasure swept through him. Lucien pushed himself up onto his knees before asking, "What the kriff happened? Who knocked me out and..." he looked at the corpse of the Watcher, "what happened?!"

"You had better ask the largest of the group that question." Sato replied, sitting down on the bench. "I am responsible for the Watcher."

***Lucien Kane***

The Mandalorian looked around and asked, "Where's Klae?" He jumped to his feet and looked at each man in turn. "I asked, where is she?"

[Krace]

~Krace had considered leaving, but now that Lucien was awake, he felt he should be the one to deliver that news.  He strode over and laid a hand on Lucien's shoulder.  His look was somber, his voice sullen.~

"We...  had to...  leave her.

~He took a breath.~

"The slavers were chasing her, she was going to circle back around, but then more were alerted to us stealing the ship.  Torque I think his name was got off and went after her to help her get away from them and he closed up the ship and told us to get gone before more slavers got to us."

~He gritted his teeth.~

"I didn't want to Lucien...   By the Force I didn't want to leave Klae, but it was leave the two of them or all of us would get caught..."

~His hand slipped from Lucien's shoulder and he let out a shaky breath~
