Hey there,
Recently, I have been considering costume design for a comic-con cosplay. The costume itself is basically a suit, which necessitates the idea of a smart, sensible saber with a certain 'respectable', yet definitively evil atmosphere to it. Can anyone give me suggestions as to a saber which could suit this? I'm thinking of having it in Sentinel Yellow.

I'm thinking maybe a Shock...? Or a Consular. Lower price maybe Dominix/Aeon either v2 or v3. Just suggestions. I'd also like to see a pic of said costume if okay? The concept sounds pretty cool.  |

Also, sure. I'll upload a pic of the costume soon-ish. Indeed, I think it's pretty cool as well - I've even decided to come up with a slogan for it as well ("Evil is always best dressed").

Ooh, yes. The Catalyst is very nice. Just a tiny bit out of my price range though, as the post/packing would take that over the $164 (£100) mark. I might go for a Liberator/Dark Liberator with Violet Amethyst rather than Sentinel Yellow, because that's got a nice smooth effect to it with not too many ridges in the handle.

I'd go for the dark liberator. It's cheaper, and it is one classy looking saber. Not to mention comfy

Yeah, there is definite substance to all of these sabers. I think the Dark Monarch is a bit too extravagant, though. The important idea is that sophistication is implied, rather than blatantly shown; the character is by no means modest, but he prefers to show his attributes through himself rather than objects around him.
