You'll enjoy your Prophecy very much, of that I have no doubt. The grooves on mine dig into my hand a little bit. Not sure if that is a result of the anodizing being machined away or not since I have not held any of the other Prophecy hilts. At any rate, it's very easy to get a solid grip on it.
