(currently locked while I build the data package!)

Ambria

A: Jedi Master Thon's Sanctuary and Meditation Enclave...the Guild maintains this facility but there is almost always a representative from the Jedi Order on hand, seeking enlightenment or recentering themselves within the grounds.  The Guild conducts nearly all of their advanced meditation and healing arts instruction within this facility. The enclave facility is located very close to the Valley of Uthkai, a focused multi-node nexus of the white aspect of the Force. The area immediately around the valley is rich with life, including a tough fruit bearing tree, the LoQuan, that is enriched with the positive nature of the Force.

B: The Dark Lake of Natth...a reknowned nexual core of dark Force energies, focused in the form of spirits and ghosts within the Force who are trapped within the lake.  All Guild members make routine pilgrimages to the lake to find balance within themselves.  The Guild does maintain a strict though comfortable relationship with the sith Order to allow access to the lake, though never without Guild escort.  The lake is surrounded in toxic sulfuric steam vents and crystal encrusted pools of superheated mineral rich poison waters.  In Jedi Master Thon's day the lake was filled with water, but this has receded into deep fissured caverns below the lake.  Seasonally the waters rise and the dragons gather.

C: Farming settlements of family units spread out across the plains.  The "green" zones are the only lush areas and even these are fairly limited to high grasses, seed bearing flowers, and hardy grains. Many of the farmers are Ithorians or have Ithorian consultants.  Due to the transitory nature of the wide spread farming efforts there are many small cabins throughout the plains that are open to any who need the shelter.

D: Guild of the Living Force Ambria Headquarters facility.  A small city made up of several temples, monasteries, colleges, training centers, utility buildings, barracks, a small space port, and a series of invited contractor supported cafes, restaurants, hotels, apartments, and residential areas.  The immediate area is somewhat green as this is the polar Force opposite to the lake, strong with the Force.

E: Mines of the Moria Range.  Private ventures that mine for a variety of materials in a small less invasive process that allows for ebb and flow of the Force rather than shocking the fragile lay lines of Force.  Small team and units of droids as well as sentients mine for specific target minerals, ore, and gems.  The Guild leases the mining rights to these companies through 5yr contracts.

F: Ambria Prime, a small thriving city that operates to support the settlers, a logistic center for the agricultural products, has a small spaceport, and a processing center for the mining operations.  The Guild presence maintains a certain degree of law in this city although they do not push themselves unless action is required as the city has its own police and small militia.

*****

The Guild has made strides to reestablish the limited indigenous flora and fauna as well as introduce non-invasive varieties.

Small herds of Staga can be seen near any foothills or in the badlands where the mountains meet the plains.

Many species of Neek, in a dizzying array of colors and skin patterns, can be found throughout all the zones of Ambria.  The ones found near Lake Natth have a particular quality of being especially resistant to the Dark side of the Force; this quality is being studied to apply to Guild members to gain a measure of resistance.

The Hssiss.  Dark side dragons.  The 2-3 meter long predators are a real threat to the people living on Ambria and as such there is an extensive program of tagging the creatures with tracking devices and monitoring the same to provide an effective warning system.  All residents are given personal monitors to give alarm if one is within a mile of their location and each building and residence has a larger alarm system installed to provide a longer range (5-6 miles).  Specialized teams of naturalists are on call throughout the globe, ready to respond to a Hssiss incursion.  None of the "lizard men" as they are called are Force sensitive, in fact they are chosen for their distinct lack of Force sensitivity.  Hssiss that venture too close to settlements are stunned, tagged if not already tagged, measured, tested, and then transported to the far side of the planet near the lake if the creature is in good health.  The Hssiss have the ability to mask their appearance in a primitive Force veil that provides a measure of invisibility, but when in movement they display strong colors of green with flashes of yellow and red.

Within the mountains are a variety of Urusai that have been introduced and have proven to be successful.  These creatures fill a much needed niche of carrion removal and excess vermin polulation that seems to follow expanding settlements and colonies.

A welcome addition to Ambria is the Nuna.  This creature was introduced as a food source that has since found a great deal of success as the creatures favor the low lying scrub plants that provide abundant flowers as well as berries that are unpalatable to most all other animals.  This relationship with the Sugil flowering bush has resulted in a vastly increased range of expansion for the bush, resulting in extensive increases of bio diversity across the globe.

Another introduced species is enjoying a measure of success, though not everyone would agree with the end results.  The Anooba has taken a seat as a top tier predator that rivals the Hssiss.  The two rarely meeting though as the Anooba favor the open plains and foothills where as the Hssiss favor the zones surrounding the lake.

Voorpak breeding for the pet trade was the initial intent for introducing this diminutive carnivores but due to a tendency to be escape artists they have flourished beyond intent.  In short order the Voorpaks have replaced other smaller predators to become the apex of their small tier.  Hundreds of thousands can be found in and around older mines and small colonies are found near each and every settlement, town, city.  These odd creatures seem to enjoy the company of sentients, with feral ones displaying quite tame mannerisms with only minimal attention provided.  Most wild ones accepting small tidbits while offering themselves for vigorous body scratching.

:: Thon's Sanctuary and Meditation Enclave ::

Guild Ranger Rel Meob is sitting upon his favored stone, which hangs precariously from the cliff wall just outside the main foundation of the enclave open theater, meditating in deep trance when a sudden shock hits him and he attempts to catch himself.  Failing to recover in time, he falls off the edge.  His students react though too late to assist at the moment, as they are all collectively stunned when he disappears from view without a sound.

:: Dark Lake of Natth ::

A pair of crust hunters, those that scour the crystal beds of the dark lake risking their very souls to find elusive gems filled with dark energies that certain clients pay small fortunes for, are deep in a dry blow hole when one makes a find.

Holie "Me found it, me did!"  Excited he starts to dance around.

Klu "Give us that, Holie my brother"

Holie "Why?"

Klu "Because it's my birthday, and I wants it"

The two wrestle for a moment before they both stiffen as if shot and tumble into the crusty hole, without a sound.

:: Under Dark Lake of Natth ::

The sith acolyte Kor Nardin Blackhand is testing a section of the cave system for traces of a particular energy, reaching out with the Force, a brilliant burst of radiance emits from a mineral patch igniting a pocket of gas.  The acolyte bursts into flames, reduced to ash within a second.

*****

:: Guild Ambria Headquarters ::

Within the meditation chamber a dozen Guilds members are in various stages of meditation when they all call out as one, passing out on the floor.  Attendants rush to their sides to lend assistance.

Many of the more sensitive membership also feel the surge of the Force, causing many to feel nausea and a sense of overwhelming lightheadedness.

:: Ambria Prime, central market ::

Master Meehob is conversing with a young street urchin with a particularly strong connection to the Force.

Master Meehob "Young one, how old are you?"

Orphan "You smell funny"

Master Meehob "Ha! I suppose I do at that, you are a clever one"

The orphan stares wide eyed, jaw dropping slack, as the Guild Master begins to quiver and shake violently.

Orphan "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Both fall over, the child bleeding from her ears and nose.

::Ren Emyss::
::Wild "Green" Zone, some distance from the Guild headquarters::

As the tall woman adjusted her bristling back-sling of long grasses, Ren felt a wave of dizzyness brush across her presence in the Force and echo along her bond with her twin brother, Ronomy. Looking around the thicket of tall, slowly waving yellow-gold grasses she swept some of her bangs out of her face - grey blue eyes taking in the sights while she sent an uneasy, questioning echo of concern towards her sibling. Slipping her hand underneath the sling, she tapped the silent node on her comm, having heard the call to stations.

With a quiet sigh, Ren knelt carefully yet swiftly and unearthed a couple more stalks of thick heavy grasses, perfect for mats or cheap bedding - this towering sling-full was destined to grace the outdoor walk ways of the Meditation Enclave. Lifting the lightly balking grasses in the breeze, Ren shoved them in with the rest of their companions across her back. Straightening, she steadily paced back through the green zone, headed towards the Guild's Headquarters. The nagging, uncomfortable feeling radiating through the Force did not bode well.

Snap.

With a graceful twist of her body, the Jedi Explorer lowered herself into a defensive position as she turned to face the oncoming being. Despite the unease pinching her stomach Ren allowed her self a small chuckle - a small group of Neek, all various shades of muted blues, greens, and purples, chattered amicably as they practically pranced about her - familiar with her scent as she frequented this green zone. It was one far enough away from any farms, or sentient buildings that she could enjoy the peacefulness of the wilderness: gathering, meditating, or practicing Sun Hao.

With a faltering step, Ren fought off the dizzyness she still felt in the Force, turning back towards the Guild's complex. Small snouts bumped against her hakama, twitching and prying for any special treats she seldom brought with her - they had excellent memories. With quiet apologies, she rubbed one of the more friendly Neeks' head - it had a series of scars running down the back of it's skull. Ren had happened upon a lone Anooba who had the good fortune of catching a Neek, but the misfortune of doing so in her favorite green zone. With a little rehabilitation, the turquoise creature had healed and found a friend in the tall, quiet woman. Walking at a brisk pace, the creatures slowly lost interest in her empty pockets and preoccupied behavior. With a sidelong smile, she watched the lithe creatures leap and cavort into the thick brush, quickly disappearing once more.

It was a fair distance to Headquarters, but Ren settled into a jogging pace - suppressing the nausea as best as she could.

:: Khe'vhiin Sharu ::
:: Guild Headquarters Hangar ::

::The guild hangar was in its usual buzz of activity.  Sparks flew from a welding crew repairing a ship, fuel lines snaked across the floor, beings of all manner coming and going along with small hoversleds and droids.  The large interior of the space cast echoes of all this activity throughout and the scent of machine lubricant was heavy in the air. Khe'vhiin was carrying boxes and various containers from the hold of his ship, the Beskar'beviin, and stacking them on a sled nearby.  Supplies for the guild, this time it was mainly foodstuffs, but there were also a few small parcels earmarked for specific persons in the guild that had been requested. As Khe'vhiin exited his ship with a large crate, a wave of nausea suddenly overcame him and nearly sent him to the ground.  He sank to one knee heavily as the wooden crate slipped from his grasp and crashed to the ground causing it to splinter and spill it's contents of fruit across the floor.  Khe'vhiin was breathing heavily and the hairs on the back of his neck stood straight up.  He knew something wasn't right, this feeling wasn't from illness but from the Force.  It seemed that even if he shied away from it, it wouldn't shy away from him.  As he recovered, he heard the emergency call and set off to report to his station. ::

:: Aliaksander Jade'grun ::
:: Guild Farming complex in Green Zone on Ambria ::

Aliaksander was bent over the moisture condenser the sweat running down the groves in his grey skin as he repaired some wiring that had succumbed to the arid conditions of life on Ambria.

Aliaksander was humming a song to himself as he worked, working on the farm always brought him peace, it centered him. Smiling as he turned the condenser back on, Aliaksander stretched his hands over his head when he was hit with a sudden wave of sickness. Dropping to on knee Aliaksander closed his eyes and felt the disturbance in the force, the source of his affliction and tried to calm it, as his comm sounded.

Slowling rising to his feet Aliaksander cleared his head, as he silenced his comm and started running at a steady pace towards the Guild Headquarters.

:: Raeoar ::
:: Guild headquaters (external) – Forge/Workshop ::

The large selkath hammered at the desh sheet, deep in concentration. The metal had been tempered and was moulding to the design Raeoar had mapped out, given the specifications of the human Raan. The forge was hot and Raeoar's usually moist skin was dry. He missed the underwater workshop on Manaan, but he would never return to that planet.

Angry with himself for being reminded of that place, he struck the metal with more vigour, letting the Force guide and enhance his movements, letting his anger burn like the fire in the corner of the room.

As he brought the hammer down, a sharp stab of pain coursed through his mind, and the hammer fell where it wasn't supposed to. Raeoar cried out in pain and felt his throat constrict, nauseated. He shuddered, and picked up the deformed piece of desh. He spat in disgust and threw it aside, shaking his head.

A com-terminal near the exit buzzed. Raeoar walked to the terminal and checked the message: an emergency recall.

Raeoar shook his head and went about putting all his tools back in their proper place, extinguishing the fire, and locked up the workshop before making his way back to the Guild Complex Proper.

:: Aliaksander Jade'grun ::
:: Amria ::

The sweat poured down the groves in his skin, soaking his inner and outer tunic in sweat as he continue towards the Guild Headquarters. Aliaksander saw the terrian past by him, saw the green zone pass and the desert take control, so the wild life pass out of the corner of his eye, but Aliaksander stayed focused.

The minutes passed by and Aliaksander kept his breathing regulated his thoughts focused. The Jedi had taught him to supress his emotions, life had taught him how to control his emotions and now for Alex the question that was the hardest to bury was what could have caused this amount of pain and illness? If he had felt it many more had, and the alarm. Why was the alarm so vague? Why hadn't it given more information unless. . . Unless all that was know was the disturbance.

::Dano Furin::
::Ambria Apartments, Suite::

Dano stood in his apartment tearing apart his fridge, looking for that special cut of meat the guild butcher secured for him. He had saved his daughter weeks ago, and that cut of meat was his way of thanking Dano. Dano always loved helping others, it was what he loved about being a Guild Paladin, he got to save others and have fun doing it too. Others didn't take it as fun, but Dano thought it was. What was more fun then jumping and flipping all over the place. He was so in love with it, that he never used his stairs in the apartment. He lived on the 10th floor. It was  a fairy nice place. It had a balcony on the second floor. He always would scale his living room walls to reach it. Granted it was less of a second floor, and more of a suspend loft. But is was big enough that it had his dresser, a bed, and a fair amount of room. He didn't even use the building stairs to reach his apartment, he just climbed up the walls.

A bit sad, he sighed as he couldn't locate his special cut, he really was looking forward to it. He settled on a favorite recipe of his, seared bantha steak, when he felt sick. It wasn't a normal sickness, but more of a sickness through the Force. This brought it's own issues too, severe uneasiness. He knew something was wrong, but wasn't sure what exactly it was. All he could tell was there was a slight unsettling in the Force. He was going to fight it off when his comm rang out. Acting quick after shutting it off, he didn't want to hear the same message over and over, he threw on his tabbards, belt, and clipped his saber in place and left. Before he jumped out his window, he checked to see if his knife was in his boot, which thankfully it was, and he jumped  out.  Leaping from windowsills, to rooftops, to the street in efficient fluidity. After landing he made a straight shot towards the Guild Headquarters.

::Nok-Su Cao::
::Living Quarters front steps::
Nok-Su had just fitted and tuned a new set of strings into his banjo and was beginning to pluck out a familiar song when he felt it; a disturbance in the Force more powerful than he'd ever felt before. Already sitting, the lean Kaminoan gasped and fell backward onto the steps behind him, barely able to keep from hitting his head. After a few seconds the initial shock passed and he was left with a nauseous headache and a sense of lightheadedness that made it difficult to think properly. On base instinct he swung his banjo across his back and headed to the Central Garden where he was assigned to guard the High Council building during emergancies.

::Guild Paladin Ikis Epecegu::
::Aboard the Valiant Light::
::En route to Ambria::

~Ikis stifled a yawn as he did a little stretch while sitting in the pilot's seat.  It would be good to be getting back to Ambria.  Their trip to help the settlers had been an OK excursion away from the Guild's home, but had taken longer than expected, and they'd had to make two trips.  He looked over at Aedryn in the co-pilot seat.~

"Well, I don't know about you, but I am going to be glad to be home.  Not that the bed in the Captain's quarters here isn't comfy, but it just isn't my bed back at the Enclave."

~He sighed, thinking about the two trips they'd had to make.~

"That and I can't believe we had to kick those bandits out twice.  I figured the first time we showed up, kicked their butts, and threw them out would be enough.  I mean, usually people get the idea when you wave a lightsaber around in their face.  But noooo...  the day after we leave we're halfway home and we get a call to come back because they didn't get the hint."

~He smirked a bit, thinking about their return trip.~

"Then when we came back they had the audacity to shoot at our ship.  I mean, seriously....     Oh well, I'm pretty sure after we carved some holes one of their craft and then crushed the cockpit transparisteel, they got the message.  Kinda seemed like we'd lit them on fire they ran so fast for their ships to leave.  Though I think they finally believed us when we told them they'd be sorry if we showed up again."

Guild Explorer Aedryn Kescari::
::Aboard the Valiant Light::
::En route to Ambria::

The blue skinned twi’lek was lazily stretched out in the co-pilots seat. She looked over at Ikis and grinned. “You know me Ikis, I like visiting the Enclave but I never stay there long. There’s always places to be, beings to see and new things to find.”

She laughed as he recounted events. “Yeah, they especially took off running when blue Force Lightning flashed across the clearing.” She shook her head with a smirk. “Fools. I couldn’t hit them from that distance, nor would it have done much if I had. Still, it did what it was meant to, scare them away. With luck they will leave that poor settlement alone now.”

She sat up straighter as lights flashed on the console and she heard the ship’s computer blip. “Looks like we are coming up on home” she said. Ikis brought the ship out of hyperspace, and the Guild’s homeworld of Ambria suddenly came into view. She felt a sudden sense of unease, though she didn’t know why. It felt like something in the Force was... wrong? The red skinned pilot directed the ship towards the Enclave and Aedryn opened up a communication channel to the Guild. “Ambria Enclave Control, this is Guild Explorer Aedryn Kescari and Guild Paladin Ikis Epecegu aboard the Valiant Light, returning from a mission. Requesting permission to land. Transmitting our authorization code now.”

After a few moments a heavily accented voice replied back with an edge of worry. “Thank you Explorer Kescari and Paladin Epecegu. Hangar Bay 3 is free. Be aware the Guild has issued a planet wide alert. When you land please report immediately to the duty officer.”

The two glanced at each other. What could be going on? “Thanks Control. Explorer Kescari out.” She closed the channel and sat back in the seat as Ikis quickly took the light freighter down. “I think something is wrong. In the Force. I can sense.... I don’t know what it is” she said to him. Once they landed Aedryn hurried to the cabin she had used and grabbed her satchel before heading to the ramp, with Ikis not far behind. Soon as she set foot on the planet her head began to spin and a wave of nausea hit her. She gasped and stumbled before catching herself. Something was definitely wrong with the Force on Ambria, this wasn’t an ordinary sickness.

i hadnt even been baack a full day and we were being sent to emergency positions.  thats when the pain hit me.....i fell to my hands and knees as the pain a nausea passed.  as soon as i was able to walk again i looked around the gardens.  shaking it as best i could, i finished watering my plant and made my way to the archives.  i was sort of an odd man out sometimes but i knew where my place was.

i had to find Master Yu lilos, he would know what was happening.  something was wrong, very very wrong.  and we were all about to be caught up in the middle of it.

::Guild Paladin Ikis Epecegu::
::Ambria hangar area::

~Ikis nodded and shook his head with a little smile.~

"Yes, I do know you.  All I'm asking is a week or so at home before we go off galavanting across the galaxy again."

~When the indicator flashed that their hyperspace destination was coming up he checked all his readouts and verified things were green before reaching up pulling the hyperspace throttle back as the counter reached zero.  As they dropped into sublight and began their approach to Ambria orbit he felt something was wrong from Aedryn and looked over at the fellow Twi'lek.  Her lekku were twitching slightly, as if reacting to something she was likely sensing in the Force.  He held quiet for a moment as she hailed ground control and waited for a response, knowing they would inform them if there was indeed something wrong.  When he heard the response, it confirmed the worry as they shared a look.  He took the freighter down in a swift descent, heading for their assign bay.~

"Yeah, there's definitely something wrong.  Your tchun-tchin are telegraphing that much.  It's certainly not something small or good, not with a planet wide alert."

~When the craft touched down he did a quick run of the shutdown procedures, hitting the comm as he did so.~

"TR, finish shutting and locking the ship down.  I'm sure you heard there's something wrong and we need to report."

~He got a twittering response which displayed on his panel for the translation.  Ikis hopped up and headed for the boarding ramp to follow Aedryn, not bothering with his gear bag in his quarters at the moment.  He was at the top of the ramp when she touched bottom and he rushed down a little faster when he saw her falter, but when he reached the bottom himself he felt she must have felt and he missed a step before he caught himself.  He clenched his hands, his nails digging into his palms slightly as he used the pain to distract him from the nausea his stomachs were feeling from whatever was so wrong in the Force.~

"You alright?"

~She nodded and he started onwards out of their landing bay.~

"Lets go see if somebody knows what's going on."
