Just received my latest saber with 4ch Emerald but when I connect to the saber using Obsidian 3.2.1 (shows as 3.1.4 in the forum) all I can manage is the sound. It will not read the LED. The functions are greyed out in the launcher.  I have reloaded Launcher and used on 2 different machines; one Win 7, the other Win 8 with the same result.

You might have to use different ports on your computer. One for Obsidian, one for Emerald.
It's also worth noting that the settings for both modules are separate from each other.

Try a different Usb cable I don't know why but the one for my PSP works where others have given me issues

There are two different ports on the saber one for the sound board and the other for the LED Driver. Sounds silly but surprisingly a few people have missed that

I will try later but that was a DUH! moment for me...I was not aware there were 2 ports!  Hard to see the other since its on the end that goes into the hilt. Will try later but I bet its solved. Thank you very much.

I have to pull (gently) and hold my sabre's internals out to get the usb cable into the port.
