Reaper with Consular shroud question

I'm trying to replicate this saber right here.

I emailed Emory about pricing just the shroud for the Consular but he said the shroud doesn't fit any other sabers but the Consular. Is there some kind of trick that this guy did to make it fit other than removing the reaper shroud and placing it on the bottom? Could anyone with both the Reaper and Consular try to replicate this for me and tell me how it goes?

Is it just held in place by the emitter and pommel? Sorry, I can't listen to the sound right now, but it looks like it's not tight on the body of the Reaper, so it's just there for display.

It does look cool, though. If I ever get a Consular, I'll try this for sure.
