Yes, I seriously just pre-ordered because of this.  It's no joke "Platform: Windows Vista / XP, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard"

Of course I just upgraded to Lion but this thing doesn't even ship till Dec. 31 so by the time the discs make it anywhere everything should be compatible.

just got my collectors edition from gamestop as they had already sold out online. so freaking pumped. I didnt think I could get more excited and i just did.

When I went to check out the info on the site (TOR's Official Site) (I did this at 1:45 pm today), only to follow the link........ and discover that THEY WERE ALREADY SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that Gamestop still has a few pre-orders left for the Collectors Edition by the time I can scrape up the money  Undecided..................

The good news about it selling out that quickly - there will actually be good numbers of people playing it!  So long as the gameplay keeps them hooked, this game should do pretty well, which means they will continue coming out with more updates and crap for us to enjoy!  I'm so pumped!

yes only online collectors edition is sold out. if you want to reserve a copy at gamestop you dont have to pay it all now, go and put like 20 bucks down and you will have a copy reserved.

Got mine at game stop, the info said they don't charge the account until it is ready to ship...price was 169.83 with shipping and estimated tax.

I'm pretty sure it's not Mac compatible. The system req's on the TOR site(at the bottom of the page: http://www.swtor.com/preorder) only have windows XP & above, and I think I saw in a dev interview them saying "that's what bootcamp's for" or something to that effect.

I have the money to preorder from Game Stop(and it's taking all my Gray Force Powers to keep me from doing so) but sadly I don't know if I'd have the money to pay the rest(and therefore get the game) when the time came. Come to think of it, I still have Lego Star Wars III, and a couple others that I reserved and have yet to pick up. Not having money sucks!(I must sound like a broken record. Cheesy)

Preordered it last night!  Just the regular edition, im ok not dropping an extra $90 for all that extra stuff.  Id rather spend it on a saber  Wink
