I was having the same problem.

I was using Firefox 30.0 on Windows XP. I have a very stable and fast fixed internet connection.

It seems like somehow the browser is getting a download complete signal before the file is done.

Using DownloadThemAll as suggested in another thread solved it for me.

Posting this in case someone else runs into the problem.

Very odd behaviour.
