I must have missed something.  I saw in the recent announcements for participation in a couple of upcoming "Cons", the indication that UltraSabers is now more centrally located in the US.  Did UltraSabers pull up stakes from California, and move its facilities to the Mid-West?

I live in California, so I know that the "business atmosphere" is more agreeable in Texas, and companies have been moving out in droves lately because of it.  But I sure will miss those 1 day shipping times from San Jose to my doorstep.

Since I live in San Jose I was sorry to lose bragging rights for being in the same city, but other than that my post-move buys have all been great as expected.

While I feel your pain, here in the UK mu last two orders have shipped Friday afternoon from US, and arrived Tuesday morning at my house.

My last order, in fact, had two Initiates for my niece and nephew's birthday presents, and US agreed to get them shipped ASAP to make sure they arrived on time.

Compare to the t-shirt I ordered for my nephew which was ordered before the Initiates shipped and finally arrived the Monday after his party about 10 days later... having been sent by someone living in the same town as me! Roll Eyes

So, yeah, west coasters lose out a little, but just think of it as one of the Jedi Trials. The rest of the world seems to benefit Cheesy

So they have traded the west coast, for the gulf coast, and the threat of occasional earthquakes, for the threat of occasional hurricanes.  I used to live in North Texas, where it was very cold in the winter, and pretty hot in the summer.  Down near the coast, I imagine the weather is a lot nicer through the year.
