How To Train Your Dragon

As some of you may know, the second installment of this adorable dragon filled film will be hitting theatres soon.... And I just discovered last week that Build A Bear Workshop made a Toothless bear, so I checked out the one at our local mall earlier this week and the gal said that they are something of a hot and rare item but that they'd be getting them in this morning.



Yes, I went straight to Build-A-Bear to get Toothless this morning. And no, I don't care that I was the only person over 5 years old getting one.

Anyone else secretly or not so secretly looking forward to the sequel?

I loved the first one but I'm not sure what to think of the second. I'm trying not to initially judge it by the marketing, but the trailers have been rubbing me the wrong way lately. They keep pushing in this dumb goat gag that, while I'm sure it won't be very heavily featured in the movie, annoys me. I'm also not a fan of the use of a 30 Seconds to Mars song.

However, the first teaser was fantastic! Here it is again for fun:

I'll still most likely see this because I loved the first one so much, but I do feel a bit hesitant. I don't want this to be turned into something like every other mediocre kids' movie, and the way it's been marketed after the first teaser gives me that feeling. The first one was truly special, and I'm really hoping this can live up to that.

And that Toothless is freaking awesome! I want one!

I'm keeping my hopes up... But I agree, I really hope they didn't turn it into another mediocre sequel kids' movie. Haha

Fan of the first movie, fan of the show, gonna see the 2nd movie with my sister and her boyfriend. Can't wait!

It's so stinking cute! But keep in mind that the store build a bear workshop sells them for 25$ first come first served. But online reseller type places are asking like 150$ for them. So if you want to try and get one, definitely get it directly from BABW.

Oops I meant I SHOULDN'T let her see it. She ends up spending waaaay too much on the BABW stuff. Though she did buy me a Darth Vader Moose when I graduated high school...

I'll take a picture again in the morning since apparently I sent the photos and deleted them. But, I have a Toothless POP! Figurine. Pre-ordered it, and now my Toothless is at work.
