Hi all, hadn't seen this addressed before so I thought I'd ask.

What size and wattage/specs are the stock US speaker?
I see folks building custom sabers that have bass speakers, or premium this or that but they are MHS compatible.
So again I'm wondering what the stock specs are.

Has anyone replaced their US speaker for another? Which one do they use?
Was it difficult? Were the results worth it?

Any insights are welcome.

I thought I had seen on the website that it was a 4W speaker? I don't remember where.

Might have been in a youtube video.

I think the speaker is pretty good, especially with the right pommel. I have the volume turned down to 20% as I find it too loud otherwise.
It's also about the max. size that will fit a MHS handle, you're not going to be able to fit a 30+ cm subwoofer in there "for more bass".

The lowest tones a speaker can produce depend mostly on its size, and there you are limited to the size of the hilt.
