Grab Bag Commentary for First Time Buyers

I've got to get a Grab Bag. After ordering my saber and seeing that I loved it, I think that getting something different would do me good. Plus, It seems that you can get something different that would've cost more to buy separately. Got to get me one.

Hi all, new ultrasaber user here.  

First of all, Blue, thanks for the info but I was a little bit late in reading through the forum and went head straight in and bought a Aeon Le v3 (artic blue, obsidian sound board) and a grab bag saber (Dark prophecy v3 stunt saber, sunrider's destiny).

Pretty decent,if not, awesome sabers that I have seen.

Never regretted my decision to get a grab bag saber for myself. (Aeon Le v3 is a gift for my friend).

Now, with another deal of the day. I've gotten myself a Dominix v3 (blazing red, FoC Va but i think us techs changed it to blue when i saw the note, obsidian soundboard!) for myself.  

Especially with the speed of delivery, Aeon le v3 ordered on Wednesday, arrived on Wednesday the week after.

Now that i ordered a Dominix v3, it states that it will be arriving on Monday next week.(Fedex international priority)

For my saber, I wanted a slanted emitter saber when I saw how cool it looks on sw movies.

Bamm! Grab bag saber => Dark prophecy v3.

You guys will know how happy it is to receive something that you want but because it's a random grab bag saber that you will never know what you are going to get!

I swear... us techs are, in my words, mind-readers!

Love my saber so much that i ordered another one for my self and its coming in next monday!

The left: Aeon LE V3 is for my friend, buck puck with obsidian board.

The right: Dark Prophercy v3 grab bag. =)

Yup, pretty much hooked! But monthly expenses 

Shall save up to buy few random grab bags to test my electrical wiring skills next time  For now, I am contend with the purchase.

My suggestion is that you can also look for:

Dark shock, Dark war Glaive or The Malice other than the Mantis! All those look awesome for menacing dark hilts!

But it would ultimately be your decision as to which of those hilts do you like best!

I haven't gone through all the hilts with that in mind. I am more attracted toward the Dark hilts generally. Since we're talking, do you have anyone in your area that you can spar with? And Are you aware of anyone with a saber in your area? Thanx for the response!

I see! There are alot of selections that you can choose from Ultrasabers, and you might want to see some reviews of the various sabers before making a decision on which to choose!

In my area, not that I know of. Saber not really though. But if you are talking in terms of martial arts and such, there are. But for lightsaber duelling.. Nope. Not that I know of.

There are a few groups that are into star wars, namely, 501st legion, a lightsaber choreography group and one shop called TheSaberAuthority. But The Saber Authority only sell the Initiate Sabers from Ultrasabers, not the rest of the sabers that you can find on Ultrasabers like the Chosen One, Graflex, Mantis etc.

I got two grab bag sabers:

Dominix v3, stunt, in red
Liberator v3, stunt, in green

Wasn't expecting anything like a menace or reaper   

For walking around a convention floor in generic jedi garb, they're perfect.  They're also great when attempting to create "jedi group" pictures at weddings or parties

That would depend on whether you chose economy or priority, mate. For economy, it takes 6 working days. During which 3 of those days will be spent at the airport pending customs clearance and will reach before the evening time.

For priority wise, it takes 3 working days. Say if you ordered on monday, it will reach by thursday afternoon.

Hello I'm interested in getting a grab bag saber but needed a question answered first. Does the saber come with sound? The description says it includes fully functional electronics but doesn't specify what electronics exactly. Just needed to clear that up, thanks!
