i was talking about this with my dad. supposevly the pre orders have been selling like crazy worldwide of course, but the people who have made the game said they will not support you if you dont live in the u.s, if you have problems with your game. i think it is mostly happening in australia. heres a quote someone posted in the forums of the old  republic.

Well after speaking with everyone who was interested in your game, boycott seems to be the only right answer to this situation.

How can you even dare to do this to us? Not only do you refuse to release it to us but you refuse to even say when it will be. There is no plan here, there is no love here, there is no respect here, there is no reason for us to have any faith in you here.

Goodbye SWTOR - I thought you were going to be the next big gaming change in my life, but there is no way I am going to buy a game where I am treated as a second class citizen.

The military posts overseas had this same issue with buying software/computers back in the very early 90s.   We were restricted to buying all stuff from the United States, but we could not get any support because we were outside the United States.  Higher headquarters had to organize computer specialists to aid those bases overseas.

I didn't understand it then, don't understand it now, but I'm sure that there will be something that can be done.

close to true. what bioware has said is they are not releasing worldwide all at once. they are doing a us/europe launch then launching in other countries shortly after. this pisses a lot of people off because they are going to have to wait for the game.
