I read through the wiring section in the help file of the Obsidian Launcher, and I interpreted the diagram in there like this:
The terminal labeled "Obsidian LED" must be wired to the general On/Off switch (called "toggle switch"), and the "Obsidian FoC" can be wired to a second switch (called "push button") controlling FoC. Normally these terminals would be wired to the corresponding terminals "LED" and "FoC" on the Obsidian sound board, but according to the help file they can also be connected to switches that control On/Off and FoC. Both switches must be connected to the "battery negative" or "ground" pin of the Driver by a common wire then. If you're not using FoC, then you don't need the FoC terminal.
I don't know if you can toggle both On/Off and FoC by a single switch, though. Maybe you have to contact Emory to get a definite answer.
Ok that helps a lot.
I don't need to have an extra switch for a foc but its an interesting idea.
So as long as the two terminals are conected to the ground of the driver then it should work .
I'll post an updated diagram with the recharge port later when I get the chance.
