I received a Dominix V3 as a grab bag. I ordered it in Blazing Red. When I got it, it looked cool. But, it needed something in my opinion. Break up the black a bit. So, I busted out the 150 grit and 600 grit sand paper, and this is what I came up with. For now...

Very nice looking. I always like seeing the sanded anodized coating. It gives it a brushed aluminum effect with different shades of silver to black.

A little bit of both, around the groves, then everything else is up and down.

It turned out better than I was expecting. It is just hard to take pictures of the hilt and not get glare.

For Christmas, I'm getting a SedstiSkyfaller shroud for it. So for a few months, this is how she'll look.
