Ideas. I'm going to make a Sith Apprentice uniform when my sewing machine is done. I was first thinking longer than usual sleeves for the tunics, robe obvious, maybe make the hood longer than usual as well, Darth Maul like almost. Good ideas? Definitely going to save up for a pair of JDOS boots. ;o No more details until then but thanks for any ideas. Just gotta keep it simple. Not doing any armor or anything unless I tackle a Starkiller costume.

Also can you replace the thumb screw covers to a different color or no? I'll be getting a Blazing Red Dark Prophecy and I wanted mine to be silver instead of gold. Thanks on that. =]

The screw "covers" are brass. You might be able to find stainless steel ones at a hardware store. The set screws themselves are 8-32 thread. Look in the part of a hardware store with lots of little bins of screws. That is where you would likely find them.....However I have only ever seen brass ones. You could also try to find stainless steel thumb screws in that thread size. They might sit a little higher of the hilt but would work and give you the desired color. Those might be easier to find. |

Yep, what chicago.jedi said.. also, 8-32 threading is fairly common for lighting fixture screws.. like the thumbscrews that hold the glass bowl in place on a ceiling fan / light.. maybe a lighting store? I've ordered a few ball-headed thumb screws from lighting fixture oriented websites.. but they were antique brass.

Exactly like what was just posted, the "Sith Apprentice" costume but with wider sleeves for a more masculine/eviler look. Also for Obsidian set ups, what size velcro would you say to use so the pack don't rattle around? Same size as US uses in stunt set ups or thinner? I should get some for my Bellicose.
