Is it possible to get the Mantis WITHOUT the covertech? I like it but I'd really prefer a D-ring setup, due to how I intend to carry mine, and a covertech so far down the hilt would just not work at all.

I think you can replace the CW with a simple screw to hold the shroud in place, but you can't order the Mantis without the Covertec Wheel via the website. However, you can ask Emory if he could ship the Mantis without it because you want to use a D-Ring setup instead. I'm sure he can arrange that for you.
