Yep that looks awesome shade_1313! Point! Has anyone tried using the side emitters as emitters for other MHS hilts?
Not the whole thing, but just the "ring" at the end. I was helping Nightsister find out if a Scorp could be modded to fit within the 12" max length to get into Ludosport. I was successful, but I think the shroud kept it too heavy to meet regs. But it sure looked sweet. |

I cut the side blade plugs down to 3/4", total length. Works perfectly. Standard length plug in the main emitter, and those three emitter/blade holder "rings" came from my empty Flamberge V2, ordered for its parts and to build a DIY saber from.
With that setup (having a spare set of emitter "rings"), I can just unscrew the ring and blade as one, making the changeover to "unignited hilt" for costume belt carry very fast, far faster than undoing all of the blade screws.

Having an extra set of blade holders for the Flamberge would be so handy! And thank you for the info on the blade plugs, point awarded EDIT: shade_1313 I just saw that you indicated the blade plug length one page back, thanks for humouring me I guess I should read a bit more  |

Some of you may have noticed the set screws for the main emitter loosen now and then. As an alternative to the stock set up, or using other whole emitters ... consider picking up a short extension(in silver or black) for ease of access to re-tighten the blade. This one, 3/4" long, is from the "other guys" and probably my most valued accessory.   |
