Does anyone else experience long write times when writing their fonts to their board? It takes mine about two minutes or so each time I do it. I'm not using an absurd amount of data either. Even something like changing my volume a few times takes forever. I would expect that it would not take so long considering the small file size of the fonts. I also am not using a slow computer by any means.

Yeah, whenever I write sound files, it takes between 5-10 min.  Wasn't sure if I was the only one.

10min write time would be on the faster side for me.  I tend to load font's with almost max data/memory, and I average 20min+ write time regularly.  Even with simple things like adjusting main volume and re-writing.  No biggy  Smiley

That's absurd! Really, the fonts are mere megabytes at best, no reason for them to take so long in this day in age right? in 1998, sure. But not now. Anyone know why it takes so long?

You all seem pretty lucky!!! I wish mine would go that fast... I have a 45 minute write time as the least, even using only half the memory space!

Mine only takes about 5 minutes.   Not a long wait to me, but every second is nerve-wracking at times because I fear that I will mess something up if I keep playing with it (which is stupid).   Tongue

But if you are trying to get something right, and you have to test it 6 times, that is over half an hour.

It doesn't bother me.  I'm just patient with electronics for the most part.  I used to have a VERY slow computer (it was 10 years old) so anything that takes 5 minutes or less is basically lightening  fast to me.   Cheesy  I just set the saber down now and go do something else while it "thinks."
