How can I shine a saber as good as new? Is there some kind of tool I could use?
(other than a cloth)

Hi.  Just saw a YouTube video by forum member Eiyane.  Called "high shine for your sabers tutorial" from Sept 30.2012.  Uses 3M Machine Glaze product #06051 and cloth. Seems easy to do and the results are quite beautiful for a non-anodized saber.  Hope this helps.   Smiley

Hi again.  Just remembering that I use a cheap electric toothbrush and toothpaste to clean and buff up some jewelry. Still will need a cloth and Q-tips to get rid of the excess paste and dirt.  Smiley

An ex usually takes care of that....No! But really, I spray a bit of Windex on a paper towel & wipe it down with that. Then I wipe it down again with a reading glasses type of cloth. It looks just like it did out of the box.

I use a jewelry cloth and brings back
that like new look especially with the
nickel plating. All these ideas are good

Mine is still new, but I use a microfiber or jewelry cloth on mine after use.  I may or may not do this in a loving, gentle fashion that may or may not be hilarious to watch.
