Light Side Points, Please

These videos are like potato chips, you can't have just one.

I couldn't agree more.  @Dark Cephalus these are amazing.  I'm working on my upward and downward figure 8's right now.  Right hand coming along - left hand a little clunky.  Haven't gotten the Obi-Ani yet however with these great tutorials I'll get there.  I'm Jovvi "The Old Broad with a Dog" so finding these good for movement, coordination and just general all round fun.  You're demo's are really great.  Thank you!

Quick tutorial for all the staffers out there of a move adapted from a nunchaku move. It can be thrown in with any routine or free flow to switch up the timing or as a little flare to keep attention.

Game changer. New spinner here waiting for my very first sabers to come in next week (hopefully) and this thread is SICK! I've just been watching amateur videos on YouTube and never came across Cephalus' things. This is awesome.

Thank you all for tips you post! I FEEL LIKE IM HOME, YAAAAASSS!!

I want to thank you Darth Cephalus for these tutorials. I'm slowly working my way through them and am getting better by the day from drilling your practice techniques.

“You think you know the depths of corruption that plague the Jedi?” Saso hissed. “I’ve seen it, I’ve experienced it, I even embody it. Every breath I take is an affront to their lofty ideals and idle Force worship… and so they seek to exterminate me.” He looked deep into Barriss Offee’s eyes, “they were not successful in purging me from the galaxy, and neither will you be.”

Excellent. Darth Cephalus is like the Bob Ross of teaching saber techniques. I could watch just to relax. But I just got a saber so lets do this!

Takes things slow and don't try to go too fast too soon. There are also a lot of wrist flexibility exercises you can do to limber your wrists up before each practice session.

As someone with carpal tunnel, general chronic spinal arthritis Bulging discs and Repetitive stress disorders and nerve damage for the last 20 years, Please listen to your friend Venturous. When you think you are comfortably slow, cut that in half with a focus on every spin and Obi -Ani (I really Preferr the term Eclipse Spin) going straight, down or across an imaginary opponent untill every swing and strike naturaly hits those marks. as if you were striking yourself about 3 or 4 feet away. Use a mirror if you can. Slow and controlled will always look and feel better than fast period in my opinion. I personally would recomend not stretching very lon, but moving around and warming up. Just my personal opinion. Have fun Brother.

Finally finished set 3. I don't know if I like this format better, but I will be using a drone for set 4, so switching the format anyways.
This routine uses elements from all 12 videos in set to form a new routine. It can be added to the set one and set two routine.

I love the foot work! That step with one leg behind the other is super stylish and reminds me of doing a stepping side kick.
If you don't mind, I would like to try and work that in to my stuff with a left leg behind the right, to a right leg side kick with a saber thrust to the left.

Staying real busy training. Our members have grown to 65 and they want content. Luckily, I send them here.

This is a crash course tutorial video I made for the J.o.E. LSC ( go Joe! ). Figured I would share it with the community. For those that already understand the basics, skip to the end. I put an intermediate MeiHuaQuan Staff Drill in there. The wind/airplanes/dogs were not an issue after the song ends. Hope you enjoy!

I'm really glad you came out of the shadows and have been so active dropping videos recently. I don't use a staff, but I love to watch people like you Sam, Venturous and DC. I'm thinking I need a staff more and more every day. And that skeleton training thing is genius. I think I have to build something like that. It explains the precision of your strikes. Thanks as always for sharing.

This is what the J.o.E. LSC is working at our next meeting. Along with some of our Form 5 and 6 for sparring practice. I ran through these in a sword demo a little while back.

May the 4th be with you.

...and dont forget to Plum Blossom...

Wow! This adds so many cool variations to what I know as the basic Plum Blossom (Blossom or Flower?). Beautifully executed too. Thanks Ryan!
I think were going to need you to do a lot more tutorials. Smiley
