CH3M15T my old friend. You disappear forever and then come back with an epic viking beard and contact moves. Good to have you back ... and challenge accepted.

I'll post one of my older videos here to try and revive this thread, as I feel there needs to be more submissions to it. Hopefully before too long, I'll have a much bigger one with more content uploaded that I will share as well.

Man, Venturous, I have been watching and studying your youtube videos for a long time now.

Good to see where you stomp.

You are excellent with a blade and staff.

Just wanted to say what up and good videos, good technique!

There are a couple of those I have not tried. That dual one where you throw one after the other will have to wait until I can get outside. Out of curiosity, did you ever see the dual blade barrier I came up with. I thought it would be up your alley. I have smoothed it out lately but have not been able to get a video. These are a couple of old ones though that show it from in front and from behind.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRJ3Ur2_T0Y" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRJ3Ur2_T0Y</a>

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7KPDjzAdDw" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7KPDjzAdDw</a>

The other thing you missed while you were gone was the dual wield sticky blades. This was based on something you had started to do some time ago and something that I saw Lucien Cain doing more recently. This video also has some of the dual aerials you mentioned in it as well.

Also dual staffs.

Now we each have something to work on. Wink

Alright, I'll bite. How old are you considering to be too old if I may ask? I think the company you find may surprise you. There are plenty on here who saw the original trilogy movies in theatres.

So I finally had the opportunity to light my fire staff the other day... and it's such amazingly good fun!  Grin

Good stuff. Feels a bit different when you light it doesn't it? Most of that is in your head but there is a bit of drag as the fire pulls to the back of the spin, heats up the air there, and actually attempts to go the reverse direction. Jeans and a T-shirt is a good choice. If you plan to get more dangerous with it, I highly suggest leather. One other thing is that I notice some fire spitting out the end near the early part of the video. You seem to have very thirsty wicks on that thing, so be sure to spin them out before you light it. That will make it easier to put out as well. Otherwise, looks great. It is nice to have another fire spinner on here. Point.

Well done and thanks for sharing.  Awesomeness point for you.   Cool

And you get another in an hour cus when I'm slightly down in the dumps I often go to your May the 4th music video and still get a good chuckle.  I especially like the flying sabers and garbage take out parts.  Hope that hot girlfriend is still with you.  Wink

Thanks for the tips! Can't wait to do it again and put in some more interesting moves. It would indeed be great to have more fire spinning stuff on the forum. I think a couple of people have mentioned it but there haven't been many videos. I went back to rewatch your fire sword videos from a while back, very cool stuff! I'd definitely like to try fire swords at some point. And don't you just love the roaring sound the fire makes? Feels really nice swinging it around!

Haha thanks. We performed the Star Wars medley again in costume at an open mic night on May 4th earlier this year, it was pretty funny. With the taking out garbage, I was actually just moving it out of the way to make space but when I saw that I had caught it on camera it made me laugh so I had to include it!

P.S. Hot girlfriend is still here, she was in charge of fire extinguisher!
