HELP!

here's me saying easy to use.

So, I tried to change the blade colour on my Guardian from CG to more of an arctic blue. I played around with the settings and had and managed it. But now I have no light to my AV switch or LED - so no blade light. But I have sound from the soundcard, v4 soundcard working just fine.

So I have power. I am guessing I have done something while in the Emerald driver. The driver doesn't seem to be picking up the saber when I connect it.

Wisdom appreciated as i have got myself in a pickle. Thank you Smiley

Stand down!

I think I have worked out the problem - I pulled the batteries and stuck them in the charger and they were virtually flat. So must have been just enough power to drive the sound but not the lights!

So, have my diatium cell on boost and have been back in the nav computer to cancel that trip to Ilum ( though I hear the caves are especially twinkly at this time of year!

Everything works great for me except previewing sounds in the Obsidian sound board. Is that just not a feature of the Mac version, or is there something I need to tweak to get that working?

If it helps, I'm using Mavericks on a 2010 MBP. Thanks in advance.

i also have this problem but remember if the audio file is allowed to go into the program it will play fine on the saber just use some other prog to test the files before you put them into the app i know its anoying but it is what you have to do till this gets fixed

Any suggestions on another program (Mac) to test the files before loading them? I'm also getting the issue of not being able to preview the sounds like I used to in the updated Mac Launcher. I could have sworn that Audacity used to work but I haven't been able to do it there.

Audacity does work, but you have to import as RAW instead of just opening it. It's very annoying.  Undecided

Using OS X Yosemite, I get "The application 'UltraSabersLauncher_OfflineInstaller' can’t be opened."
Is this not compatible with the latest OS X?

I'm on El Capitan and was just able to launch and run without issue. I'm almost positive the same was true on Yosemite.

Maybe try a re-install?

Sorry, I meant El Capitan in my first post. I can't keep track of the OS X names these days. Haha..

I'm on El Capitan and was just able to launch and run without issue. I'm almost positive the same was true on Yosemite.

Maybe try a re-install?

That's the thing, I tried to launch the installer for the first time (Just got my saber today), and it gives me this error message.
I just re-downloaded the Mac installer and I'm still getting the same error message.
I'm not sure what the problem here is..
I downloaded the Obsidian V4 Mac installer zip, Un-zipped the installer, and when I try to open it, the installer tells me the file cannot be opened.
I'd very much appreciate some help getting this sorted out.
I have a desktop at home with Yosemite.. I'll try installing there tonight.

Okay, so I got the installer to work on my 6 year old desktop Mac, running Yosemite.
I still cannot open the installer on my brand new MacBook Pro running El Capitan.
The installer just tells me The file can not be opened".
I've tried adjusting my security settings to allow apps from all developers, I tried right clicking to open, tried rebooting.. Nothing seems to work.
I am able to adjust my saber with my desktop, but I'd prefer to be able to run the Obsidian program on my newer laptop.
Again, any help you guys can think of would be very much appreciated.

Hi there,

I got the same issue here. I try on 2 different macbook and imac and always this message "the filz cannot be opened"

By the way, I tried the pc version on a laptop and it can't install as well.

Thank you to check your install program and tell us what to do.

Also unable to open or launch the installer in El Capitan. Pretty disappointed. I had to borrow the wife's Windows machine to futz around with it. It worked fine on PC.

quick question, it may well be dumb... but is it possible to have different colors on differnet fonts? ie i have a blue saber with jedi sounds, then i ''turn'' to the dark side, now the same saber turns red and has different sounds?

or is it 1 color for all sound fonts?
