Had this too, after the first installation. But the update message has gone now and no updates anymore. Seems like this had been a misleading message, now corrected.

FWIW, I PM'd RSX and got a response on 1/31/2020:
We will also remove the banner in the main tab of the lancher - as that announcement was referring to an older update.

Hello,

I am sorry that this is happening when trying to install the Obsidian Launcher. It is allowing me to download with a warning that it is not secure. This seems to have been resolved very recently because it was giving me the same error as you did yesterday. Please try again. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I have a emerald LED Driver - SLD-4. It's been years since I've hooked this boy up, to the point that I had misplaced my old batteries and had to order new ones. Nonetheless, I found the launcher, connected it and it seems that my LED board isn't being found. I have three DAT cables, and the only thing I can get is windows telling me is "USB device recognized -- "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it -- Recommendation: Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, your device may not be working properly." I can't tell if that's the cable or board issue. Help please.
