Nox's V4 Video Demo

Right, so this is the most awesome thing ever, okay.  I haven't had a chance to play with the new V4 launcher or the sound banks, but this is a preview of some of the fonts and how easy it is to change. 

I am also an idiot.

Thanks for the fun review and I would have liked to have heard the Sith one.  High options person here.  Idiot hmm... village clown for sure, which proudly is one of my specialties inspite of no ability to juggle.  Rock on.

The only reason I didn't demon the Sith one is because there's a frequency in it that is very grating to me.  It's the same with the "Ancient Saber" one.   Nothing against the Sith, of course.  The "Blackstar" font is rather Sith-like if you ask me!  It's very growly.  I love that.

Btw, most people probably won't find the Sith font grating at all.  I just have an absurd sense of hearing.

I understand what you mean.  Can't handle the sound of the other's guys Sith font.  So I'm good that you didn't "demon" the darkside font. 
That chuckle is worth another point.

I had no idea the Obsidian soundboard was so diverse. That's pretty sweet. Also that second Sith font just sends a tingle up my spine. I love deep base sounds like that, so that would be my choice if I were to get a saber with sound. Not sure that will ever happen though.

Isn't that sound font AWESOME??  It's pretty much tied with "Episode 1" for my favorite.  I like things that growl.

Same here. Anytime I hear a font like that, it reminds me of the Sith narration of the Episode VII teaser.

I haven't played with the launcher at all yet.  I'm so taken with it the way it is, I haven't done a thing.  I will, however, be changing the parameters soon.  I will probably also tweak the sound banks so that I have the growliest combination of things possible and then a more "classic" Jedi bank to go with it.  This saber has an R+B Emerald driver on it, so I am going to trick out the "Sith" side of it this weekend.  Balance, ya know.

Cool.... I didn't take the plunge on my most recent orders for the V4 since I want to hear how WAVs sound from the site you can purchase sound fonts from. I found a sound font I'm loving

Nox, thanks to your awesome vid! I quickly realized I am a chosen one!  Just got my first saber today, Dark Initiate LE v3.  Read a lot of posts about folks unsuspectingly getting the Obsidian v4.  After watching you, I tried the sequencing and...WOW!  Thanks for your vid!  Have a point, girl!
