Hi all. Just purchased my first saber, a grab bag saber as I wanted to get a feel for the brand before forking out the big bucks. Shipping costs us much as the saber itself! But ah well, money's there to be spent  Getting a saber to train with, just joined Terra Prime Lightsaber Academy and wanted to step up from my home-made saber, a baffle from my bike and painted bamboo. Welcome Flaekingr...... great to see another here from our great southern land I'm in Melboune, south east... where abouts are u? Let us know what Grab Bag you get, and remember to post up pics... Shipping to Melbourne can be a bit slow, normally around 8 days, although I have ordered on a Sunday and received by the following Friday, but I savour the anticipation and just be patient (lol, cause I have to) |

8 days isn't slow mate, I'm used to waiting 4 weeks for books and whatnot from amazon. I'm around Lilydale. So you train with your saber(s) or stick to collecting?

Yeah but if you want the full UltraSabers experience, you need sound. <oooohh, aaahh> You'll get there one day. Grab Bags are a fun intro to the product line, though.

ha, I hear ya, guess I'm used to people here saying they get 1-2 day shipping in the states....... Yep, doing a choreography routine with my son (he's 22 I'm 45), we do hit pretty hard tho and practice over and over to get it looking as good as possible....... and i'd say non-combat / saber artistry practice when ever I get a chance (5 to 10 mins a day, sometimes more)...... thing is when I first got into this I didn't think much about spinning, but practicing the flourishes helps us look more like we know what we're doing, haha, not just Star Wars dorks with glow sticks..... There's lots of great resources here for whatever you're into |
