I stumbled across this Arduino-based 'GameBoy' here
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/903888394/arduboy-card-sized-gaming/
and started to ponder:
Is it worth backing or is it 'too oldschool' (and will find a nice place on my shelf mere hours after receiving it)?

I backed it just for the hell of it; I have a Gamebuino I dabble with as well, and the Arduboy has a bigger screen. I play with it more than I thought I would. But, I'm a game programmer, and I really bought it to toy with writing some simple games. Just haven't have the time to dig into its API yet.
