Going to necropost cause I just have to show off these custom minifigs I picked up at the con today (and there is no Star Wars character among them):  Even as cute minifigs, that is an imposing crew in my opinion. Raven is for mom, Dr. Strange is for wife, Deadpool is for son, Punisher and Zoom are for me! Thank you for resurrecting this. I initially started it because not all LEGOs are SW. |

Hi All, Musashi Padawan,
I don't have a Voltron LEGO set but a friend of mine is a big fan of the show and as a bit of fun I built a few models for him in Blender 3D of the Lion Heads and (I think it is) the Red Lion Sword. He is getting the Lion Heads printed out to use as pommels.

p.s. I can't afford LEGO sets so have to make do with virtual building

Lifelong LEGO enthusiast and collector. My Daughter and I built this amazing set a couple weeks ago on a rainy day. Simply beautiful, functional and cool. Too bad no licensed sets in the 80s when I was a kid! Oh well, I would not have been able to afford them then like I can now. Being an adult has its pluses too. Why are the legs on different sides than the box shows? I am pretty sure my daughter taking the lead at that point in construction! I like I said, it was a rainy vacation day, quite a long project and there may have been some adult beverages consumed on my part. That’s my story at least. Although, the original series from the 80s is famous for such inconsistencies. It’s well documented that the 5 Lions would often have different numbers on their backs or no numbers at all, depending on the episode. |
