I would assume he's referring to The Old Republic. There hasn't been any info released to my knowledge concerning a monthly fee, but I'm sure there will be one. Especially if it ends up as popular as they're hoping it will be. I'm sure it will be reasonable if there is one, and there will probably be an option for a free trial to give the game a try. We'll just have to wait and see!

The game itself comes with 30 days of free game play, and after that there will be a fee. And no, I haven't spent any time on the forums....  |

I'm hoping they have a policy like some MMOs have: if you decide to cancel your membership, your characters don't get deleted so if you want to join up again later, they're still there and playable. I just feel like I'm gonna play the HECK out of this game for a few months, then end my membership (I hope I can break away that quickly lol), then maybe come back later. That's what I do with KOTOR, I keep reinstalling it and playing through it again and again every half a year or so haha

yeah i figured like 15 bucks a month if there was to be a fee. lol. (from listening to my friends talking about their WoW account costs.) im really excited to try this game though whether i have to pay or not.. haha. thank you for the replies.  |

With the just released announcement, the monthly price is set at 14.99. However, if you make a "one-time payment" of 41.97 for 3 months, or 77.94 for 6 months, the price would actually be a little less than paying for it each month.
