Dremel tool, familiarity with various paints, and lots of practice - that's really what it comes down to. ok cool, i do have familiarity with acrylic and oil paints, would those be useful? |

I've found that, from a durability standpoint, enamel is generally the best bet. Some acrylic is ok, but it can chip off the aluminum if not applied properly. I've never bothered with oil because the dry time is silly. |

Unbelievable, that's all I can say about Drahcir's work. I sent him my prophecy and while I don't have it back in my hands yet, the work he did is EXACTLY what I wanted, so gorgeous! Pictures are attached. If I'm not supposed to post them I can take them down.    |

That Prophecy looks fantastic! I'd love to send Drahcir one of my Prophecy hilts for weathering. I plan on getting another Dark Prophecy come raffle time (this one with new feature like a black AV switch, Tri-BR, and V4 sound) so I might commission him on my current Dark Prophecy in BR to modify.
