Hi guys, first time poster as I'm a first time owner of an Ultra. Have 4 MR but fancied something a little more customiseable. My problem is simple. I have recently bought a Manticore with an Obsidian 3 soundboard. The problem is that although I have downloaded the software from the forum all I get it a continual 'reading device info' message that just goes on and on until the battery in the saber is dead. So I can't link to any of the customiseable features at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled more times than I can count. My PC devices page says the saber is functioning correctly but I don't know how much my PC would know about this item, I mean it's not a camera or an iPod. Any help would be so appreciated as it represented a £300 investment and was gonna be my prize display item. Thanks in advance for any help.

Which OS do you have? If it's Win 8 or 10, you may try to use a USB hub. If you're on a Win 7 PC, don't use a USB 3.0 port as these are also known to cause problems.

I assume you're running the installation and connection procedures correctly?
