I am considering getting the Emerald driver for my next purchase (which won't be for a while but doesn't hurt to research) and I have looked into the forums to answer some of my questions.  Such as brightness and sound.  All I have seen has convinced me is a great option and opens up a lot of possibilities.  But one question hasn't been answered that I have seen..what is it's durability like.  I imagine the Emerald adds a bit more electronics into the hilt and was just wondering do they stand up to sparring or does the extra electronics make it a bit more sensitive?

If you can do it with a stunt saber, you can do it with an Emerald saber. US specializes in combat sabers. It wouldn't be Ultrasabers if it couldn't take an ass-whoopin'.

It's just as durable as the Obsidian sound boards and all other electronics in an Ultrasaber. "Combat-ready" isn't limited to the blade and hilt only Grin

I put both my Guardian and my Bellicose through all kinds of combat hell and both have Emerald drivers.  Never had a problem!
