Just received my Apprentice LE V4 stunt saber, what an excellent piece of craftsmanship it is. The Archon pommel I chose as an option really gives the saber good balance at the choke point. The addition weight of the larger pommel offsets the increased weight of the heavy blade I chose, I also optioned it with a 32 inch blade because I'm 6"2 with long arms. I like the length of the Apprentice hilt, it is more the enough room to fit both hands. It's hilt is not too thick or thin in circumference. The hilt sits perfectly in my hands and beggs to be twirled and swung. The saber lights very bright and can be seen lighting the entire blade length in a bright room. In dim light it is almost impossible not to be noticed. Other options I chose were the slotted emitter, cover tech wheel and round blade tip. Since it has no sound.. (yet) it is powered by 4 standard alkaline battery. I may send it back after Halloween and have it upgraded to a V4 sound card. Or I might order another hilt in arctic blue next time with sound. Either way I'm extremely pleased with my first Ultra saber and can't wait to duel with it. Definitely will be a repeat customer!
