So how the pictures show the light sort of showing through the slots, does the light actually shine through that and would still make it kinda dangerous or not really? I really like that blade plug so. Would go good for my Overlord I think. Let me know and thanks on that one =] Its cool we have other styles now

Zren, the blade plug lets quite a bit of light through (it is painful to look at directly).  My quick review of my Aeon hilt has the blade plug in and still shows how bright the sabers (it tends to overwhelm the camera). Check it out at http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=25879.0

Could always glue a circle of regular white paper behind the metal disc to act as a diffuser.
