Device Connected keeps flashing/popping up

I was cleaning out my closet today and found my old light saber.
I put new batteries in it, and turned it on, but the swing sense was a little off.

I updated the launcher and turned the saber on, plugged in the USB cord, and the Device Connecting pop up went on and the saber went dead, but the Device Connecting message pops up and goes away, then pops up again, It's still repeating that for about 20 mins.

I tried a bunch of stuff, like clicking the auto connect. un plugging and re plugging in the saber. run launcher as admin.

I have Windows 10 and the obsidian board, not sure how to figure out which one it is though.

Anyone know whats going on?

I think mine is doing the same.. says device connected "reading device info" flashing non-stop... did you manage to find a way to solve this? Thanks.
