I've seen discussions for Sentinel Yellow, Pyrestone, Magenta, and even multiple threads about the possibility of a black blade. My question is fairly straight forward.

Has anyone ever managed a custom shade of green that was darker than Consular Green? I would -love- a nice dark green, the name that comes to mind is emerald like the birthstone, that dark. It's the color I've always imagined my personal saber would be.

If anyone can point me in the right direction about getting this figured out, I would be super appreciative. I'm looking at ordering my first saber in the next couple weeks after more than a decade of pretending I could use the Force every time I pass through an automatic door.

I want my first saber to be "my" saber. Cheesy Thanks in advance.

Best thing to do is email shipping@ultrasabers.com about this request. Deep should be able to let you know if it can be done.

BTW, pictures of new custom colors are always appreciated. I don't think we've seen a dark emerald green yet.

First, I have to LOL hardcore at your automatic door comment... only because I do EXACTLY the same thing!  Oh nerdiness...

Second, I agree with the above statements, Ultra or Deep will likely be able to help you with this.  However, I'll do my best to provide my two cents (especially since I'm a big fan of green sabers):

There are a couple options for greens.  There's plain old green LEDs like Consular Green, or you can get a true Emerald color (a green with some blue) by using a higher bin cyan Luxeon.  I'm not exactly sure about darker colors, to me it would seem like that would be a tough thing that would require a creative solution - perhaps using some kind of color discs with the Consular Green?

Anyway, hope you find out your answer, be sure to let us know when you do!  We always welcome new custom colors Smiley

When my Consular in Pyrstone gets low on power the red cuts out leaving a really wicked looking green and yellow color! Gonna see if I can get a MLS mixed like it.

I'm not sure about an emerald but I managed to get my brothers consolor to go to a dark tealish colour that for some reason leaves a slightly bluer trail, its kinda hard to explain I'll see if I can get a video or pic of it later tonight.

I actually plan on experimenting with LEE filters on a consular green LED to see what I can come up with. It may not work at all, we will see.
