And now for something completely different!
As you all know..I bought a Dark War Glaive. But my other UltraSabers purchase at DragonCon was a Dark Coupler. I figured I'd write a brief review about it in case anyone was curious

The first thing I noticed when I bought the coupler is that it's a touch big. I have pretty decently sized hands, and I can't close my hand around this thing. Normally, that'd be a problem..but it actually works rather well. The coupler has just a touch of weight to it, but when you put that weight at the center of whatever staff you're building, that helps out. One thing I did notice is that the vents are sharp! When I put my Raven and Dark War Glaive together, I actually had to get my gloves out to keep from scraping my fingers on the coupler. The coupler is made out of the same solid metal as the sabers, so it's definitely NOT going to break at all. Very sturdy construction with a very precise attention to the detailing. Very impressive work.
If you're going to get a coupler, I HIGHLY recommend this one. It's worth every penny and it also trains you (by its size alone) to keep your hands on either side of the sabers respectfully. Here's a couple pictures!
