I've already written most of my story but I still don't know what planet my character comes from.
I like the Kiffar because I love Quinlan Vos.
Are all Kiffar darker skinned like the Korun? Mace Windu is Korun.

The Kiffar resided on the planets of Kiffu and Kiffex, and their skin came in as many varying shades as that of Humans. Apparently no, they can be any skin color. |

Additionally, if need be you could allude to a mixed species alliance/marriage such as Quinlin and his main woman/wife who was a fair skinned species (can't remember which planet) but was human. Remember, she gave birth to Korto Vos.
