I am planning on buying one from one of Ultrasaber rivals. Once I finished making my film. And have my two Halloween costume sorted. And have booked my holiday to Trinidad with my mum and niece. So, may take a while, but will be worth it in the end.

I've noticed that different smiths have different strengths in saber making. US is very good at producing high durability dueling sabers. And although their "replica" models are good, they aren't exact. |

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think ANY saber smiths out there have "replica" models that are 100% accurate. As cool as Lucasfilm is with the fans (cosplaying, fan films etc) I think there may be licensing rules that prohibit exact replicas being made (but don't quote me on that). I agree that US customer service and quick turn-around is one of their major plus points. Other sabersmiths have their own strengths and weaknesses. The "other company I will be ordering from have a great reputation for the quality of their products, but it can take ages for your order to arrive. It's totally worth it in the end (or so I'm told). What if he had it before he came to Saborforum? Don't you feel like a jerk now?
I do actually have a saber that I owned before I joined the forum. |
