Ok guys, sorry if this seems like a bit of a stupid question or has been answered before, but would this coupler for the dominix v2 work with a dominix v2 LE? http://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/dinitcoupler.htm

I'm guessing it would but I don't want to get it without confirmation. I wanna double up with the dominix v2 LE's and make a staff if possible. I have one half on the way that's arctic blue. Thoughts on the other half? Should I stick with arctic blue or mix it up? That is of course if I can make it a staff.

Yup that's the one you need! A Arctic Blue Dominix V2 LE staff would be epic!

Briiiilllant Smiley thanks mate, appreciate it. I may have to get right on that, especially as I have a fair few reward points to use up! Would using two ultra edge heavy grade blades for a staff be too heavy? What does everyone use for their staff?

I use heave grade on my staff.  It depends on your personal physique.  You can always down grade later but this is one of those personal choices.  Let us know how it goes!

I have the medium grade initiate blades on my Phantasm staff. They're plenty durable, but I think maybe too short for me. I'm most likely going to upgrade to 36 inches.

I like the staves in single colors, but mixing it up is good too. Look at the video posted by YoungJedi127. He has a staff in Guardian Blue and Consular Green. http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=2328.0
Sometimes mixing it up is a good thing, but always personal preference.

Thanks for the help guys. I think what I'll do is when my first sabers arrive on Monday I'll be able to see in person how the ultra edge heavy grade blades are as that's what I picked. If I think they'll be too heavy for a staff I can try the mid grade or something different. I'm 5'9", I have 36" blades coming my way for my three sabers.Adding the second 36" for the staff...I dunno, may be a bit long. We'll see. Wouldn't hurt to have some spare blades anyways.

As far as the colours go, like you said, both personal opinions but I think I'd prefer the single colours. I like them both but the single colour would look wicked personally in the dark.
Thanks again for your help guys!

You can actually cut your blades down to size if they are too long. There are topics on how to do it. Then you can use the cut pieces as blade plugs like I made in this thread http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=2783.0

Ok, so now I'm kind of undecided on which hilt to get for the other side of the dominix staff. First though, I need to know: does this same coupler http://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/dinitcoupler.htm let you connect the dominix v2 le and the aeon le together? I'm unsure as I've seen an aeon/dominix combo, BUT there is a separate coupler for the aeons. Or is that just a colour thing?

So...two dominix's v2 le's, or a dominix v2 le and an aeon le? What does everyone think? That is if its possible. They will both be in arctic blue.

As far as I'm aware the Aeon pommel and the Dominix pommel are compatible so you can combine any of those.  To be absolutely certain you can email shipping@ultrasabers.com to double check me.  Let us know what you choose!

Exact same coupler for dominix and Aeon. Color is the only difference. One is the Lightside version, the other Darkside version.
