I finished up my practice session today with a quick video, I was just going to share in the demos post but I figured I'd make a thread since I was getting some pretty positive feedback. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do the reverse grip throws and reverse grip plum flowers like I practiced because my camera started to die near the end.

My focus wasn't really speed, it was more about transitioning and changing directions. But thanks, I do think I'm getting faster with the aerial moves.

I've tried some things but unfortunately works kept me from practicing very much.  I've been practicing stepping through the plum flower and I'm just having a really hard time.

I would suggest starting with the figure 8s. If you can walk with those and change direction, then try just turning with an obi-ani. You are pulling your shoulder forward already. Just let it keep going as you would with the plumb but let your hips and feet follow. Turning back from the upward to the downward is the same as with the figure 8s.
