Artists...your our only hope....

Hey everyone. So me and some peers and students have really been going over the many different forms of lightsaber combat. Keep in mind most of them are of the Kali background. I also have training in Shaolin Meihuaquan. Anyway, to the point. i have researched and talked with other clubs/organizations about how they translated the material and we have come up with our format.

Now we need the art...this is where you come in. We are calling it the " Path of the Jedi " lightsaber club. And yes, Sith are allowed...anyway, we need a logo for the front of the shirt as well as the back. Preferably something simple that gets our point across. Keep in mind this is a club, not an academy or school. Maybe down the road but my day job is teaching martial arts and we want this to be more about socializing and training Star Wars are style.

For the artist we select there will indeed be a prize. We are pooling our money together in hopes of awarding the " winner " with something like a grab bag stunt saber. More details on that as more people get involved. At The very least we would get you a hilt. Right now I have 9 members not including myself.  Not all of them have lightsabers yet but you all know where I sent them. ( here of course! )

Thanks for your time! We are in Brevard county Florida if anyone in the area wants to get involved. I'm finishing up our " training " book, then once we get the shirts, we are in business and will post some videos. We will be doing everything from Dulon's, dueling, and choreography.

P.s. - ages 5 and up will be involved in the club, so please nothing gruesome....even as much as I would like that...

Very nice. I should probably post a video for this to better explain what we are looking for. Mainly, a small logo for the front, and a larger one for the back of the shirt.

Not sure if you're still looking for these logo's but I had some time to spare, so here's what I came up with:

Wow, that's awesome.  And it would really pop on a white or light colored shirt.  :-)  You could even get different colored blades with a 2-color screen...

I could get you a white copy of the logo's if you prefer a dark T-shirt.
And yes, you could pick any blade color you want. No problem. 

Also, the back logo is actually a whole lot bigger but Photobucket resized it.
