Now I see what you're talking about Galv, that is sweet looking! Two choices I would have never thought of: BH and Dark Monarch, together make quite a good looking saber, thanks for sharing this.

My saber collection grows, with the addition of the Archon V2.1 as the newest in the batch. This is my second saber with sound and my first with a standard heavy grade blade, as reading through the forums I saw many advising to use the regular blades for blazing red. When I put one of my Ultraedge blades on to compare it did come out more of a pink and alot duller, so it was advice well heeded!

No problem. Yeah, when i was getting it i had trouble visualizing what color would go well with the nickel plating. I thought the plain silver one would look good in blue (plus you have the option to customize with MHS pommels without it looking mismatched. I've seen people put a scorpion/guardian half pommel on them and they look pretty sweet), and the dark version would look good in red or some shade of green. Red seemed viable, and a deep purple may have looked okay too, and it turned out both of them mixed together ala Bane's Heart was perfect for me |

Now I can see the pictures. Very sweet looking for sure. Love the Bane's Heart more and more. Is it more suitable for a Sith or Jedi blade color though? I vote Sith giving the color name  |

I dunno. It seems almost unaligned to me, but considering how close it is to red it could more easily be a sith color than a jedi one

Nice pics Gal; that is one regal looking saber^^ I'll be the first to admit that my eyes don't discern colors particularly well but it looks like your saber hilt is gunmetal grey (pretty sure that's just me ). And that purple compliments the hilt perfectly |
