Thanks for the responses everyone! I gave it to him and he loved it. Already dueled with him and I can tell this is going to be great exercise for both of us. Yes the crystal on the pommel is a cabinet knob I got at Lowes that I attached with some washers and a screw through the vented pommel I ordered with the saber. Also I did want the wrap to match up with the blue button I requested so I'm glad that turned out ok.

Between you and blue wolf and of course the recent stuff I learned about Lord Rapine's mod, I am really getting interested in possibly doing a mod on one of mine. Really looks awesome Jinn. It reminds me of a part out of a Meccano (beginner's mechanics for juniors) set. The old kits had domed parts to fix on the end of tubes to create fuel tanks/cylinder sections in models. Meccano sets also have numerous cogs, gears and pulley parts that might be usable as blade plug decorations. |
