Great sabers everybody!
Edon did you ever figure out about the recharge port?
Sent an email to customer service to confirm but first impressions are that it is a dummy since saber still turns on when a plug is inserted into the recharge port. Edon, that Butcher is so beautiful. Is it your new favorite or is your Azure Menace still your favorite so far?
I don't think any saber can beat my Azure Reaper as #1 and Azure Menace as #2. Unfortunately the Butcher I received has some issues like the one above that I hope I can get resolved. The big one though, is the rattle due to looseness of one of the claws. That really kills the luster for me and the socket hole on the screw is soooo tiny and the hole's hex shape is so close to being round as a result that it is impossible for me to tighten or remove the claw myself as it instantly strips. Waiting to hear back on a resolution. |

I believe the claws are "loose" intentionally. Because the claws are attached to multiple parts (emitter and body) if they were cinched solid then they would be prone to cracking and possibly breaking as the saber "flexes". Having them floating helps protect them, however if US don't have a solution for you, you may want to consider using a very small amount of Contact Cement (that rubber like gum that attaches credit cards to letters) underneath the claw to cushion it. Hope this helps and you get that nice saber sorted! |

Yep I was going to do just that if I could get the claw off, I don't really want the glue showing but if I could get to the underside of the claw then I will do it. Just to clarify, one of the claws is in there tight no movement, no problem, one of the claws is a little loose but doesn't make a noise so again no problem. The third claw is so loose it makes a rattling noise just when handling the saber, that is a problem for me, but I'm sure it will get sorted out.

I found out that the sabers turn on anyway, due to how the ports are wired. That port you didn't ask for is off putting to me. Not enough to not order one, but I hate extra holes in my sabers. |

I'm sure US will have better advice, but the contact cement just seemed an easy fix I've seen used elsewhere. I still think the claw setup is a design technique albeit slightly off putting for some. Point for you. |
