Hello Zabraks, Humans, Wookies.... and so on,

I had a mishap with my saber and am rebuilding out the internals to include sound this time around.
Here is my current parts list:
-Obsidian V4 Soundboard
-5.5 Vreg
-2.1 Vreg
-Tri-Cree LED star
-Anti Vandal Momentary switch
-Bass speaker
-Buckpuck 3023 1000maH edition
-Li-ion 7.4 battery

To power the LEDs I will run through the Buckpuck first and then regulate that with the 5.5 Vreg as it rated for a higher mAh.
I will use a 2.1V regulator with a 30mAh rating for the AV switch's LED. I wasn't actually sure how to get the LED to turn on only when the saber is activated...

Please go easy on me as I am an electronics novice trying not to fry components on my breadboard.

I have a Dia file with this diagram if anyone would like to make changes to it. All help is greatly appreciated!
